Hey guys! Okay so I've been looking for a sunscreen that doesn't leave an oil slick because all the ones I've tried (even the really expensive ones) leave stickiness. When hair clings to my face on a windy day, it might just be the most disgusting feeling in the world. Anyway, a member here recommended DHC White Sunscreen. Trying it out this morning, I squeezed some into my palm. It came out really thin and runny and I thought to myself, "Oh great, I've fallen for another oily, non-moisturizing sunscreen that's just going to sit on top of my face for the day." But alas! After cleansing and toning, I put it on, (no moisturizer!) and my face feels so freaking soft! I'm absolutely thrilled! Now I don't have to walk around looking like I just stuck my face in a bowling ball cleaner! It's got an SPF of 25 which is decently high, although a higher one with the same qualities would be extra-extraordinary because this one's already extraordinary. The label also says that it helps with evening out skin tone and has Vitamin C?! Looks like Hanukkah Harry came early this year!

Hmmmm....sounds very interesting and I just wondered into DHC's website Embarassed I see many interesting things in there. Anyone tried many products in this line? What's good in DHC?

I like the Cleansing Oil, but since I can't resist trying different brands, I will be getting a different one soon. My sister loves the Velvet Skin Coat primer; she always has a backup tube available.

If you request a catalog, they will send one with samples attached. Usually it is of the Olive Essentials line (cleansing oil, mild soap, mild toner/lotion, and virgin olive oil). I personally didn't like the mild soap; it was too drying when used after the cleansing oil.

hth.

jamie630, do you know if the sunscreen is ok to use around the eyes area? Btw, has anyone try the DHC primer? It sounds very tempting and it's not that expensive too. Does anyone know where they sell DHC stuff in Vancouver? Thanks! Smile

This is my favorite sunscreen as well. It is not greasy and works so well under my makeup. I just wish it didn't come in that tiny bottle!

I have to agree. I can't believe how much they charge for a tiny bottle of olive oil. I think they're based here in San Francisco too, and my sister uses their "white mask"
