I use the proactive system everyday but My nose still gets really oily. All other parts of my face aren't like that. I also get a lot of blackheads on my nose and around the area. Recently my nose has been getting red. I never had a problem with my nose getting red. Anything I can use to help this problem?
Thanks |

I think proactiv contain a lot of strongly BP. You should use it only when you have got severe acne. For your problem, I think heavy moisture can help it. I recommend cetaphil moisture for sensitive skin. |

It sounds a little harsh for your skin. You may wnat to think about trying the Vichy Normaderm line. It is very effective, especailly for blackheads and it is more gentle then Proactive. |

I used proactive for a very short period, two weeks, I think. I don't like it at all. You can try obagi to treat acnes. It works very well for me. |

Try the PSF balancing oil, sounds weird but it really does work. My forehead is really oily and I use this product. |

What do mean 'red'? Is it getting dry and irritated or is it inflamed?
Personally, I like proactiv. I've tried other things to control my acne, but I know it works, so I keep going back to it. I find it's best to use a good moisturizer with it, in the morning (skip the repairing lotion in the morning), and at night over the repairing lotion. Sometimes I don't even use proactiv in the morning. Try using cetaphil in the morning and good moisturizer and see if your problem improves. |
