Hello Everyone,
I recently placed an order of Jane Iredale powder and since it arrived here so fast, I was so impressed with the service that I came back to the web site and started reading some of the reviews.
So far, for my age, I'm doing pretty good with the wrinkles but beginning to notice fine lines around the eyes and bags--Can anyone recommend a really good eye cream that would take care of both? I guess though I'm concerned more about the puffiness.
Thanks
Trish

Hi Trish,

Welcome to the forum! Smile

My guess would be that anything too heavily moisturising would not help you with bags under the eyes. I'm not sure if that is right though, just my impression. From the light creams or lotions I'd recommend the Orlane B21 Anti-Fatigue Recovery Care Eye Contour which is a light moisturing lotion or go for the big guns Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream which is also very light yet very moisturising at the same time.

I've read somewhere that eye creams or eye gels with caffeine in them are supposed to reduce bags under the eyes so you might want to look into that as well. You could also store your eye cream in the fridge. The cold temperature of the cream apparently helps minimize the bags.

Another thing that comes to mind (yeah, I read a lot of magazines Smile) is elevating your pillow at night. It's supposed to allow the lymphatic fluids to drain down. I hope I'm not misquoting the magazine but I'm pretty sure that's how I read it... Smile

Mabsy.

Mabsy,
thank you for the advice on the cream.
I'll try it. Although I'm certainly not rich,
I don't mind going for the "big guns" and spend a bit more money for quality and value--Wink especially if it works.
So far every eye cream I buy just doesn't seem to do much of feel great and I like the fact that the best advice for me is usually from someone who has tried something --Thank you and I'll definitely start some review myself on some products that I find really great for me that I've already used
