I love the microexfoliant but I'm not sure I "get" how to make the paste. What I've been doing is washing my face, leaving it wet, and then rubbing on the dry powder. If I add a teeny tiny bit of water to just the powder in my hand, it turns to soup.
Also, the tiny beads seem to dissolve within seconds of putting it on my face whether I do it "my" way or not. Is that what's supposed to happen? Alexis |

Hi Alexis,
Is the Dermalogica Microfoliant the one you're talking about? I use the Microfoliant all the time and it's a great product. I don't add water to the powder, instead I make sure my hands are wet (not just a little wet but very wet) and then add some powder and rub my hands together. I also massage it on a dry or just damp face (most of the time anyway). When you massage it on your face you're not really supposed to feel any of the particles I don't think. It doesn't rely on granules exfoliating your face, rather on the ingredients in the paste. Btw, I believe that with this product it's very important to actually massage it on your face for at least a minute to let the ingredients go to work on your skin

Hi Mabsy, Yep, that's the one. I'm always adding syllables to names of products I can't remember! Bad habit and makes me look a little "duh"!
I was thinking about the (here I go) Multi-Vitamin Power Mask. If I don't get any other suggestions to consider, I'm definitely going to try it. Alexis |
