I have some stretch marks, pretty fine ones on my butt, thighs and breasts. They bug me. How do i help diminish them? I use moisturizer but it dont seem to help. Does drinking lots of water help?

StriVectin helps. It's costly though. $135 per tube.

Hi BCgirl,
I am no expert, but this is my opinion. I think you should try doing a series of Glycolic acid peels on those areas. From what I keep hearing and reading, you cannot permanently remove stretch marks, but my sister in law was able to reduce the appearance of her stretch marks with glycolic acid. She buys her peels at Platinumskincare.com. Her stretch marks were the most severe on her stomach, but she did a series of peels once a week and was able to minimize them.
Maybe you can try doing the same.
Good luck! If you try this, keep us posted.

Not sure if StriVectin works but my husband bought it for me to get rid of my pregnancy stretch marks. I am waiting until I stop nursing to try it. Will let you know later. I also got some fine ones on my butt! So annoying! Mad

...maybe you could try a homemade oil and ground coffee scrub? It might help a bit... and at least it feels great and will get circulation going Smile

Unfortunately there is no way to get rid of the stretch marks once they become white. If they're still pink the methods above should help some.
