I've just run out of Tend Skin lotion, which is bad news seeing as I just spent a good deal of yesterday waxing! I still have the Tend Skin deodorant (that stick lasts for ages!) so perhaps I should just apply that all over. LOL
Anyways, back onto the topic.... I'm considering getting the PFB Vanish instead (handy roll on applicator ). Has anybody tried it? I've never heard of it until I saw it here on EDS. Is it about the same as Tend Skin or would you recommend that I stick to the tried and tested?

Mabsy,
Hope I'm not getting too personal, but I was just wondering if you use Tend Skin after bikini waxing? I find it to be too stinging and exfoliating and use it mostly for ingrown hairs. I prefer aloe gel and witch hazel or Mustela for after waxing. Another product that a lot of spas use in this area is intex. The bad side is you can smell the fish ingredient that it contains. Yuck! I know you asked about PFB Vanish, but I haven't even heard about it, where did you find it on the site? |

Mabsy,
Ok I just found the PFB vanish on the site. If you end up trying it, please post a review as to which is your preference--the tried and true tend skin or the PFB. :P |

Hi Thoughtcrime,
I think I might get the PFB out of curiosity I have not tried using Tend Skin right after waxing because using Tend Skin right after exfoliating has taught me a lesson. I'm sure it's still well documented on EDS somewhere. Man that hurt! So, seeing how painful that was I decided that I can only use Tend Skin a few hours after waxing.
Directly after waxing I use a Tea Tree Oil lotion. Very soothing and cooling. I highly recommend it. It's supposed to reduce the chances of getting ingrowns as well. That was Magda's tip when I asked that question a while back. Thanks Magda!

Mabsy, I love things with tea tree oil (from your hometown)! What brand lotion do you use? Thanks |

I'm using one by a company called Australian BodyCare. No fancy packaging but it's a nice lotion. Have a look at http://www.australian-bodycare.co.uk/cgi-bin/eGreyl/eGreyl.cgi?&shop=eshop&language=&curr=&cart_id=&product=Body_Care if you are interested. I'm using the lotion that's first up on that list. I think it has 5% tea tree oil in it. But 12.15 pounds!!?? They've gotta be joking! It costs Au$9 here (so around 3.8 pounds or US$6.5). Let me know if you have trouble finding some. You should be able to get it but I would be more than happy to CP stuff for you if you need anything from here
