Hi everyone. I was wondering what kind of brush does everyone use to apply Mineral Makeup with? Thanks!

I have been using my old BE brush but it is too scratchy!! I need something softer for my face!

I heard that Aromaleigh's kabuki brush is really soft. However, they do not ship overseas. Crying or Very sad

Does anyone know where us gals from Canada can get a hold of Aromaleigh's stuff?

I went based on recommendations from here with the Jane Iredale HandiBrush and am very happy with it. It is verrrrrrrry soft and blends the mineral powder in nicely.

My only complaint is when I apply under my eyes, the powder goes on choppy/clumpy - anyone else have this problem? Do you all use a sponge?

Another vote for the Handi brush! I used to use a BE brush and thought I was using a state of the art tool like the Hollywood makeup artists, but once I got my Handi brush, I realized just how horrible and scratchy my BE brush actually was!!

O/T: I've actually given my two old BE makeup brushes to one of my cats as a play-toy! Finley has a serious fetish for any type of brush, be it a paint brush or a makeup brush and if you leave one lying around, he’ll purloin it. He carries it around in his mouth by the bristles, and then tosses it across the room and then runs after it and tosses it again – it’s really the damnest thing to watch!

So anyway, that is what becomes of all the sub-par makeup brushes in my house....

I don't even use mineral make-up and I love the Jane Iredale Handi, it is the softest brush I have ever used and creates a really nice pollished look.

Carekate that is the cutest thing I have ever heard, I love cats they do the funniest things.

My cats love my brushes too! Every once in a while I find one of my cats sitting on my kabuki brush under the bed. Like he is guarding it!

I have noticed that my BE brushes are a bit rough...I am going to need to invest in the handi brush.

Does anyone here use a retractor powder brush for their powder foundation? It's a bit smaller than the regular ones but I assume it works the same? I just got mine today, it's from Lise Watier. I haven't try it yet but I hope it's good cuz I want to use it when I'm out and I don't want to use those regular big ones in public...haha Anyway, let me know if anyone try one of those before, thanks Smile
