Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anybody has any experience of taking either of these 'green foods', and what you thought of them in terms of improving the skin etc ? I've read that Spirulina is supposed to have many more nutirents than Wheatgrass, but that Wheatgrass is especially good for the skin. Any thoughts anyone ?
many thanks

Hi Jackie,
I TRY and drink my wheatgrass on a regular basis but honestly it tastes horrendous :-& I do make a protein shake about 3-4x/week with Spiru-tein. It's main ingredients are Inositol and Choline. Ya know I really can't say that my skin is in any better shape.I purchased these products for "overall" health purposes, but hey if it makes my skin nicer than YIPPIE Sorry I can't offer any advice on the use of these products in regards to skin.Hope you find your answer. |

You're right I tried it once and never again. I think they have greenfood supplements now but I don't know how effectively they are |

I've been drinking fresh squeezed wheat grass juice for 5 years and taking spirulina for about 1 year now. I did not see any skin improvement. Like Lifeplye01 I take both for general health purposes.
When I first start drinking wheat grass juice it was horrible but after 1 year I kind of like how it taste. And I DO believe both of them really keep me healthy. |

I took spirulina for a few weeks. I did not notice any significant improvement in my skin although I did feel like I had a lot more energy. |
