I remember seeing a post about using gelatin as a treatment for gettng rid of dark eyes. I think it's in the diy recipes post. Has anyone seen any results on that? |

I've heard of this product that claimed to reduce the appearance of SERIOUS dark circles. It was tested in clinical trial that more than 72% of women saw improvement in reduction of dark eye circles. It is called Hylexin. I'm curious as whether the product is as good as they claim. |

sernx, i did the gelatin thing. it said to use a cotton ball to apply, but that was really messy, so i just used my fingers and let it sit. it was kind of uncomfortable because it really hardens a lot and i couldn't open my eyes, and also, it was really difficult to wash off. a lot of the gunk stuck to my eyelashes.
i didn't really see results after the first time. it didn't help either that i wasn't doing it regularly. perhaps i'll try it again. |

This is my #1 issue. I have found the Cellular Skin Rx product useful.
Also, DeCleor Vitaroma Lift Total helps to hide my circles. I really like it as an eye cream but am also happy with the way light seems to bounce off it making my circle look less noticeable. I can't be bothered with make up on a daily basis.
I do need to wear make up for my job and I can't tell you how effective Laura Mercier has been. (Another product I read about here) There are three products needed to create the effect, however, you really don't feel overly made up. Secret Brightener, Secret Concealer and Secret Brightening Powder have done a great job of hiding circles without pronouncing fine lines for me.
Good Luck! |

i have a major problem with circles too, and the only thing that's helped is a combination of taking my allergy medications/shots faithfully and using RevivaLabs firming serum w/ DMAE, alpha lipoic acid, and vit. C ester. A lot of girls on MUA have said that DMAE products are the only thing that have helped them, so maybe try a cream that has a lot of this ingredient in it. I've also tried numerous Vit. K products with no success, i think it just depends on what your dark circles are caused by. |

i have quite dark circles under my eyes. every woman in my mother's family does too. i'm assuming it is genetic. i just wear some concealer, and it makes a huge difference. i think that is about all i can do. |
