Just wondering if anyone has tried Skinceuticals phytogel plus? I read about it in a magazine and it is supposed to be good for bleaching the skin and getting rid of old red pimple scars which i have and would love to get rid of them.
It would be great to hear from anyone who has used this. |

Hi melissajane,
I have heard of it but haven't tried that product . I'm currently using Speed Fader from careceuticals that I bought atwww.skinbeautix.com and it works very well for my dark spots... |

This is from a previous post...
my skin is very sensitive and since I started using Skinceuticals Phyto Corrective Gel, my skin is SO much calmer and the red scars I had from about a year of bad breakouts all over and a lot on my cheeks are almost unnoticable. I even use two topical prescription medications (Tazorac Gel .01% and Benzaclin). I don't think I would be able to use these if it weren't for the SC Phyto Corrective. My skin has always been SO irritated by other treatments (In the last 12 years I have tried pretty much every prescription medication under the sun in addition to Murad, Proactive and Zenmed but to no avail). About 9 months ago I searched long and hard for skin lighteners b/c my post inflamatory redness was SO bad. And I was just starting to go on to the topicals listed above so I was preparing to deal with the usual irritation associated with topical treatments. I was pleasantly surprised when the SC helped calm my usually irritated skin!
I also use homemade DR H cleansing cream and homemade Decleor ylang-ylang oil. These in conjunction with the above have yielded great results with my breakouts and overall skin health. I tried the ACV but I stopped using it b/c my skin flipped out. I don't know if it was it or other stuff I was using so I am going to try it again one of these days.
I also checked into the difference between the phyto + and corrective and was told the corrective was better for oilier skin and the phyto + is better for mature/dry skin. |
