ok girls, i've come across another supplement for acne. This one contains all sorts of herbs and plants, not like the b5 supplement. Check out the website and see what you think:

I don't think any of them would do. Although I do believe in taking 1 multi vitamin a day, or rather my doctor recommends this in the winter. Why don't you just eat the foods.

I've never taken supplements to clear my skin -- but a VERY clean diet really helps my skin a lot. If I eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and not much of anything else I've gotten the best results. I've even fasted for a day or two and that really had the best result.

Hi,

I looked at the web sitewww.clearpores.com and was surprised how they are marketing that products. Basically the herbs in the formula are beneficial to help strengthen the liver, cleanse the blood and detoxify the body via the liver and kidneys. The only thing I wonder is why they say it will clear your pores??

I have suffered with acne and congested pores, and have taken almost the same formula via a decoction (boiled - which medicinally is the most potent and bioavailable way to absorb root herbs) I did not notice clearer pores, less acne yes!
In my experience when you take a herbal powder in a capsule with water it will have a very little effect on your body. If it is in the form of an extract certified to have very high amounts of the active chemical components then there is a better chance of getting some results.

The best way to improve ones complexion is to be very strict with ones diet and eat mostly whole foods. This is another entire topic, I hope my input is helpful.

I think clear skin is best attained by using topical products such as using gentle cleansers and using a well formulated BHA to keep pores clean. And using a good sunblock during the day to prevent further sun damange.
