Just wondering if anyone here uses these and what they think of them. I am thinking of purchasing Golden Olive and Violet

I had a few samples that I tried--they were a little "too much" (glitter, shimmer, messy)for me (I'm 43, though) and gave them to my (20 y.o.)daughter who loved them! The color & texture range is incredible and some can be used on eyes, lips, cheeks and body! Also, you have to be careful not to get it in your eyes, as it is loose powder and some contain alot of glitter. I think MAC sells a product that helps them adhere to eyelids better. Or maybe just use a good eyebase. They do look quite nice when applied properly--I just do not have the patience or skill Embarassed

Also, FYI--they sell alot of samples on Ebay. That way you can try out different colors without spending alot of $$$. Just make sure if you do get them from Ebay, that it's from a reputable seller.

Yes I have been wondering too about using a base, I already have some eye paints but saw something about mixing medium.
Also I have noticed a range called Barry M at Superdrug that have a huge range of eye shimmers that look just like the MAC Pigments, they have a better colour range and are only £4.50!!

I love working with pigments. A little goes a long way so you may want to start out small with samples first (MUA or Ebay are great places for them). Paints and shadesticks make great bases so the colors won't crease. I love the range of colors and textures they have...there are mattes, frosty ones, and metals, too. FYI, some pigments are safe for use on the eyes, others for lips, and some for both, and this can be checked on Specktra under precautions, along with the many colors they offer.

I always wanted to try MAC pigments, but I was never sure of the ingredientsna and went on a different forum where girls were paranoid that the pigments were possibly toxic? I didn't research the pigments much, but i'm definitely a fan of colors, and creativity with makeup..so if the pigments are safe I would love to buy some pinks and purples!
