i posted this on makeupalley as well, but i think there are more people who make their own vit c serums on EDS, so i thought i'd ask here as well. 
the recipe on makeupalley calls for vit c powder with 1125 mg of AA. The powder I have contains 1250 mg of AA. How will this affect my serum? Will it increase the percentage of vit c in the serum ie, not 10% but 10+%? or will it decrease the pH of the serum? or both?

| To be honest I didn't know there was a different percentage that you could buy of plain Vitamin C. Mine is just 100% pure lyscorbic acid. Miligrams should represent the amount used in the total solution, not the actual type of vitamin c you purchase. Am I making sense? |

I suppose that makes sense. But I'm thinking more vit c/AA per mg, the more potent each tspn will be....right? And the more potent, the higher the % in a serum and the lower the pH?
I think I've just confused myself! |
