I am thinking of applying the Vitamin E capsule oil on my face. The pharmacist told me to put it after deep cleansing. Then only apply the toner, serum and moisturiser.
The Vitamin E is in oil form. Will it cause pimples break out? It seems a big worry to me.
And, another problem is can the toner, serum, and moisturiser (or any facial products) that we put after the Vitamin E oil still be able to penetrate into our skin with the oil on our face surface?
I am so confuse, please help. Thank you |

More smaller the chemical molecule is, the priorer this product in skin-care procedure. Vitamin e capsule does great work but too oily and will disturb the others penetration, so I believe you should put it in the last step to replace the moisturizer. |

I would say read about the Dr Hauschka regime first, they explain on the site how oils are good for your skin:
http://www.drhauschka.co.uk/productinfo.php?product=90
I use Grapeseed Oil every day as a moisturiser and I would never go back to a creamy moisturiser now.
As for the application order:
Cleanse
Toner
Vit C Serum
Vitamin E
I have never experienced an outbreak from using oils as moisturisers. |

alexol, rosebud and ena, thank you very much for your replies, they are very useful to me.
Alexol, thanks for your information.
Rosebud, thank you very much for your information about the application order. I have been confused about it quite a long time ago, thanks.
Ena, you mean it clogs pores? means it causes breakout?
Can the Vitamin E oil helps in diminishing pimple scars? I hope to use it to diminish my pimple scars. Can it helps? How long it takes to diminish pimple scars? a small and bright red pimple scars?
Hope you can share your experiences with me. thank you very much. |

Vitamin E is more for dry skins so if you suffer from acne/oily skin then it could clog your pores and you would be better off with an oil such as Grapeseed or Jojoba.
The Grapeseed oil I use comes with Vitamin E included, aternatively you could always create your own blend of oil. |

handsbella:
i would usually only apply it at night before i went to bed and in this order:
cleanser
toner
(if ur using a serum then i'd apply the serum before the vitamin E oil)
vitamin E oil
*sometimes i would put on moisturiser just for extra moisturisation after the vitamin E oil, but u may find that that will break you out? the vitamin E oil will probably be enough without moisturiser before bed as well and generally just use the Vitamin E oil as your final step in your nightly routine
also i definately encourage you to use Rosehip Oil. maybe try alternating each week between the two might be good.
it does take some time (say 2-3 months) to see results but eventually they do begin to fade and one day you'll wake up and notice it. |

micha_852, thank you for your response.
You use rose hip oil or Vitamin E oil ? which one is best recommended for diminishing pimple scars? i think use only one at one time is better? isnt it? I am not experienced in this field, so wanna hear your opinion. |

i'd say just try the vitamin E oil that you've got first, you'll see results with both of them
i'm not using either at the moment as i'm trying to get my actual acne under control first..i should get some tho lol...i tried using an oil mixture that had all different oils in them and i didn't see any improvement
if your only problem is acne scarring, then go with the Vitamin E oil |

Would it be comparable to if I were to use Vitamin E in a cream form rather than in oil? I tried oil capsules I brought off my local pharmacy and it worked great for awhile. But a few months later, I found it a trifle too rich on my skin and gave me a lot of white heads. I was wondering if anyone would know the difference between the two. Thanks! |
