   Usage

For Home Care Use Only: Apply a small amount, the size of a pearl, to a clean dry skin. Gently smooth cream over face and neck, avoiding eye area. After application, do not rub or touch skin. Do not use Sothys' Retinol 15 if you are currently using any other retinoid product, taking acne medication, or undergoing any skin-drying or peeling regimen. Avoid sun exposure during the use of Retinol 15 and avoid use of any strong AHA's during use.
Some individuals might experience a slight reddening during initial usage. If so, use product every other day until skin adapts, or discontinue use.
Use for blemished skin.
Use for age spots and hyperpigmentation.
Use for wrinkles.
Use for 3 to 4 months.

   Ingredients

Retinol: Retinol is the chemical name for the first of the vitamins to be discovered - Vitamin A. It is one of the hottest ingredients in the medical and esthetic fields because of its functional properties. In clinical tests, retinol has shown to: increase the rate of cell turnover (stimulate the cellular process of mitosis), promote production of collagen and elastin proteins and offer a secondary action of exfoliatoin.
Microsponge: Microsponge acts as a micro-reservoir system within the top layers of the skin. Their purpose is to store the ingredient of Vitamin A. The structure of the Microsponge resembles a miniature sponge, a multitude of pores. The ingredient, Vitamin A, is encapsulated into the many pores of the Microsponge. The encapsulation of Vitamin A makes the ingredient 100% stable, no air and no light interfering with this fragile antioxidant. The size of the Microsponge is microscopic which allows the Microsponge to slowly deposit retinol into the skin's crevices. Microsponge technology is developed by Advanced Polymer Systems.
