I have been an Osea user for quite some time, introduced on this forum. I have purchased quite a bit of the line- and I lean towards the lighter Atmospheric Protection cream, feeling that the Advanced Protection Cream is far too gunky and heavy. I like the creaminess of the Atmospheric because it sinks in and feels great. My only complaint is that I tend to get a bit greasy by the end of the day. I have mid-30s, very very dry skin, probably a result of decade long retin-a use. I am extremely blemish prone, and tend to look flaky and oily at the same time. I wear little to no makeup anymore. So enough about me.
Enter Osea Blemish Balm. It goes on similar to the Atmospheric Cream I love so much. Its filled with essential oils that clarify and balance the skin- I'm no longer oily by the end of the day. I put this on twice a day, and it sinks in like a dream. The scent is somewhat strong lavender? and rosemary from the oils- my boyfriend can't stand it. But this is ok because it dissipates quickly. I have not broken out from this- I can't say that it prevented blemishes, I'm not much congested than I am usually, but it didn't cause any so I'm sold. I will continue to repurchase. I urge you to try this if you are a fan of the Atmospheric Cream but are blemish or oily prone. It comes in the same pump bottle, highly better than the unhygenic tubs that Osea puts their other cream in. I actually kind of like the smell, but it is definitely there- if you don't, hang in there because it is scentless when it dries.

The above post is a review of the following product available at EDS:
Osea Blemish Balm (60 ml / 2 floz)
Osea Blemish Balm (60 ml / 2 floz)

Ultra-light antiseptic moisturizer for all ages and skin types. Blemishes disappear with OSEA’s proprietary base of three seaweeds combined with a unique blend of Cypress, Juniper, and Rosemary essential oils. This natural alternative to harsh retinols and synthetic chemicals hydrates instead of drying, reduces inflammation and prevents breakouts. Has a firming effect on the skin, so it’s effective for adult acne.

Thanks for this review! I won't be using as it's not for my skin. But it's so good to know that Osea is still churning out some of the best products out there. I love the brand; it's my go-to and staple.

Thx for the review Ava! Is it tinted like most BB creams these days?

Unfortunately it is clear instead of tinted. I would probably be less likely to buy it if it was tinted, but I can completely see how this would be a turnoff for others. Its more like a treatment lotion instead of a typical BB cream.

Initially, I found it QUITE pungent but it has since started to grow on me. I do find it strong, though, in a medicinal sort of way. Incidentally, mine feels the same way about the scent too. Laughing

I used to get spots. Always had tea tree oil in the house, and always have lavendar oil cos love to sprinkle it in the bath.. anyway: mix the two oils together, and you have the perfect blemish balm. Easy peasy.

What osea have come up with is a nice product..but all you actually need here is the tea tree and lavender. Fyi, for any members that enjoy making potions!

Just wanted to update that I have been finding this to be great for itchy body skin. Works a treat.

I am always interested in the brands with more natural ingredients and mineral oil, paraben free. Going to have a look at their products.
