I bought Jurlique Purifying Mask(40ml type) at during the Ester. The sales recommended this because I have severe acne on my forehead. I still wonder why she did not recommend blemish mask and so on. I was told to apply it per day during the first week (it says once a week on the cover).
The mask has strange color and the texture a bit disgusting, but the scent is OK with a little bit alcoholic smell. Your eyes may feel uncomfortable when putting it close to eye area (Not inside). The scent makes you feel calm as if the product works well to solve your skin problems, just like most of the Jurlique products. But the mask dries just too fast, and you'd better add some citrus mist in and blend them first so that it won't dry up on your hand just when you put it on!
For the effect, well I don't know. Every time I wash it off, I feel that my skin is very smooth. But my acne is still on my forehead. I don't know if there are certain skills I should pay attention to while using it. Anyway it's so expensive in HK and I really hope I can make the most of it.

I just used few times before. I use it for my pores so just put it on my T-zone and it works. I live in Australia so the price is good.

I was just looking at this mask online and I think it has a lot of alcohol in it which is why I passed on it.
A better mask is the Boscia clay mask, or if you really need to suck gunk out of your pores in a completely natural way: get the Morroccan mud from Shea Terra Organics. It's just mud and nothing else and very effective. It's actually just powdered mud - you add the liquid each time and mix it up. You can use water, milk, honey, juice - whatever you like. I have really congested pores so I've been using this mask after I do the OCM to pull out any gunk that got 'stuck' half in half out (sorry for the TMI).
IMHO don't bother with the Boscia Luminizing Black mask - you have to use so much just so that you can peel it off, it's wasteful, and I just didn't see particularly good results.
Hope this helps!

I find it a little too dry and hard to spread on its own too! Mixing it with a mist is a great way to make it more fluid indeed Smile

Another herbal smelling product that you could dab on your pimples like a pimple cream is the Masque Doux Aromatique by Nuxe, or the traditional method of using toothpaste works fine too.

I had a back-facial the other day at Jurlique (also a facial as well) and they used this product. The skin on my back was quite clear afterwards. It seems to be a keeper.

Have you ever tried Murad's Clarifying Mask ? It's specific for acne prone skin. I use it on my T-zone as a weekly 10 min. treatment, but also dab it on breakouts and leave it for the night. In the morning breakouts are smaller and the redness is minimized.

I used to like it in the good old days when the product was still in the old packaging. Not sure if there is change in formula or my skin condition changed.

Now i would prefer nurturing mask instead.

You know what, I used the Jurlique Clay Mask years ago.. now I prefer something that's $2

Try boots cucumber clay mask. They are sold in little 50ml tubes in drugstores for $2!!! Amazing for the price.

I use it for quick detox on T-zone. I leave it on for 3 min and make sure I remove it before it's completely dry.
