Hey all! I was looking for products to lighten, whiten, and brighten the skin. I heard the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads are great for this but not sure. Any thoughts? Other things that are better perhaps?

Hydroquinone has been proven "to lighten, whiten, and brighten the skin."

Other ingredients to consider:

Ascorbic Acid (LAA)
Glutathione
soy isoflavones
N-acetyl glucosamine (NAG)
Retinol

Obagi offers non-hydroquinone and hydroquinone skin solutions.

For example:

http://www.essentialdayspa.com/obagi-nu-derm-clear-4-hyd-p_1115.htm ($108)

Vitamin C products:

The most popular (expensive):

http://www.essentialdayspa.com/obagi-professional-c-seru-p_4677.htm

http://www.essentialdayspa.com/cellex-c-advanced-c-serum-p_347.htm

A mild, non-irritating version:

http://www.myfawnie.bigcartel.com/product/stable-double-c-oil-free ($40)

Affordable versions:

http://www.essentialdayspa.com/cellular-skin-rx-c-firmin-p_4142.htm ($41)

http://www.cellbone.com/c23.htm ($31)

http://www.paulaschoice.com/shop/skin-care-categories/antioxidants/_/Resist-C15-Super-Booster/ ($40-4Cool

Lots of options to choose from, depending on your skin and money you are willing to spend.

Is there anyone who has tried Obagi lightening solutions? Obagi offers quite a few selections. How do they work?

I used Skin Brightening Cream from Skinactives - and it did brighten my skin.. meaning made it more clear and bright. I used it for six weeks on my face..and hands..

I knew it was working when my hands where whiter and it ended at my wrists where i stopped applying the cream.

There are a lot of good products listed in this thread. I have to chime in. Hands down, the most effective skin bleaching agent that you can find is a product called Divine Derriere Bleaching Cream. It has Hydroquinone, Alpha Arbutin, Licorice Extract, Niacinamide, Glucosamine, Kojic Acid, Ferulic Acid, and SPF. Wow, this stuff whitens. They also have a Hydroquinone lotion, and Brightening Serum. Does anyone out there know about this stuff?

Hi, hot-doc Smile I have used Divine Derriere, as a matter of fact, with unexpected results. And as far as sensitivity, I used it for anal bleaching, vaginal bleaching, and freckles, pretty sensitive areas, without irritation. I know, all those ingredients are intimidating but they seem to have figured it out. They do have a Hydroquinone lotion that doesn't have all of the other lightening agents, as well as a non Hydroquinone facial serum. Good Luck!

If you want to lighten and whiten your skin there are many skin care products to choose from. But in order to make sure such product really works. Check the ingredients if they are really help in lightening the skin. Alpha hydroxy acids like glycolic, lactic and citric and beta hydroxy acids like salicylic are just some of the products that really helps in whitening and lightening the skin.

There are a lot of skincare products available in the market these days. You just need to choose one that works best for you based on your skin type. Aside from this, you also need learn how to properly care for your skin on a day-to-day basis. Always wear sunscreens, cleanse and exfoliate your skin regularly, follow a healthy diet and drink a lot of water.

I have used those facial pads, they are great for exfoliation not much for lightening the skin though.

Dark spots, freckles, acne scars, and an uneven skin tone are just some of the obstacles on the never-ending quest for clearer, lighter skin.

With so many skin problems nowadays there are so many products available of different ingredients that repairs the skin.

To fully brighten & lighten the skin you need a product that restore and protect your skin barrier by giving it a boost of all day and also skin friendly.

In my opinion you must try EADEM Cloud Cushion
AIRY BRIGHTENING MOISTURIZER
which comes up with rich natural ingredients like- Niacinamide, Snow Mushroom, Peptides, Glycerin that instantly soothes irritated skin, deeply hydrates to prevent the appearance of dark spots.
