Hi all, I broke down and started the lip system. I've been diligently using it for 4 days now, the frequent reapplication is not for the faint of heart, but I keep the long term results in mind. I work at the hospital and wear scrubs so I have to keep the products in my pocket all night(I work 12hr. night shifts). My lips aren't peeling yet but feel dry like they are getting ready to peel. I've tried taking a beginning pic but can't seem to get a closeup that's not blurry-I'll keep trying, tho. |

I had the same problem with the picture turning out blurry. I got my son to mess around with it and he tried some changes with the focus, and I had him take a pic, it came out good. Doing it by myself just wasn't working.
I've been on the Lips2Kiss system since Wednesday and my lips started peeling yesterday. I can tell it is working. I'm just having a hard time remembering what product I last put on. Everything I put on feels so good, so much better than chapstick/lipstick. I'll take the peeling in exchange for some well hydrated lips any day. |

Well, I too just broke down and got the system after lurking around this thread for quite some time. I can't wait to get it and see what it'll do for me. |

If you have a macro option on your digital camera (usually indicated by picture of a small flower), that is the best setting for closeups. |

I haven't really been using my digital camera lately but a trick someone on EDS told me was to take the pic in front of a mirror (now I wish I had gotten the camera I was looking at that has a swivel LCD -- it would make taking photos of myself easier. Use the mirror to view the LCD viewfinder before taking the pic if you are taking the picture yourself. |

The macro option worked just great. Too much info on a digital camera for by brain to register. Thanks |

Just wanted to give a quick update. It has been 60 days for me on the system. My upper and lower lips have definitely gotten bigger, but now they seem to be in proportion with each other really well. My color is really nice looking and my lip line is improving overall both on top and bottom. The thing I am noticing is that my lip lines above my upper lip seem to be "moving away" from my upper lip. This is a hard one to explain but there is definite improvement. I will post my pics in a few hours, need to wait for my son on that! The only problem with my 60 day pic is that I changed the light bulb in the room where I take the pictures, so to me my color is not near as nice looking in the picture, almost looks pale in the picture. |

Rileygirl, your results look fantastic. I ordered the kit from Kandis last week. I can't wait for it to arrive and I can get started. |

Yes, you definitely inspired me to go back to my routine and be a bit more disciplined with my application.
Your lips look FAB !!! |

Just wondering if everyone is able to keep up with applying the LC, LG, and NG every 20-30 mins throughout the day?? I just bought the system, and was thinking I'd forget to do this, and if so, how detrimental is that going to be? I barely remember to drink water throughout the day. |

It was a bit hard at first, but after the first two weeks, gets easy.
It is very important that you apply very often while lips are rejuvenating, because they really do need the added moisturizer. If you only apply, say every hour, or longer - your results will take much longer to appear.
Applying less often, allows lips to begin dehidrating again, which you want to avoid, for bets results.
Sort of like medication, you need to take an antibiotic as often as prescribed (every 4 hours for example) to maintain adequate high levels of the product in all your body tissues, or it will take you much longer to recover from the illness.
But if applying once an hour or so is all you can do, then that's all you can do. At least do make a point to really apply regularly throughout the day and evening before bed everyday consistantly. Consistantcy is really the main key. You will still get benefit, you will just possibly have slower progress. So just keep that in mind.
I made a point to keep the product with me at all times, laying on my desk next to me, or in my pocket, or on my counter by me, for example, and every time I see it or think about it, I would apply.
I even had a tube of Night Glaze I carried to bed and laid on my night stand, applying before sleeping, and through the night if I woke, and first thing in the AM. (I don't do that now really as lips are much less dry, and don't seem to need it)
Now I don't apply as often (20-30 min), maybe once an hour roughly, but my lips are in much better shape - now. When first using the system for the first 3-4 months I always applied every 20-30 min as much as possible anyway. |

I'm here with my 90-day update, and not being the best photographer, I need to provide a little narrative ...
In the last 30 days, my lips are slightly darker and the vertical lines in my lips are much more smoothed out. (I attribute some of that to the ULLE.) There is more definition in my cupid's bow as I now have two flat little dimples that don't show up in the photograph, but they are there and I'm certain they weren't before.
(Of course, Rileygirl is a very tough act to follow ... I will never have beautiful, full lips like her, but I am extremely pleased with my progress nonetheless )
