On those ionized gels. I was told months ago when I posed the question about where to find them that SBC made them . I was pointed by someone on this forum to eBay UK where a seller had many different types.I have vitamin E, C and a collagen gel like this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SBC-COLLAGEN-GEL-125ML-WITH-PUMP-BRAND-NEW-RRP-10-94_W0QQitemZ290267108354QQihZ019QQcategoryZ33164QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262

I can say she was very pleasant to do business with.

I am new to this forum but so happy to have found it. I've used Face Master with decent results a few years ago but had been wanting to upgrade to something a little easier and more affective.

I am had planned to reward myself for successfully quitting smoking six months ago by getting a series of facials but I am really excited to save money by using these diy tricks.

Mine arrives the day after tomorrow and I am really excited to try it out. Many people claim that you can see a difference after just one time. Perfect! I will be testing it right out.

Just checking in after a few months! I have been using my nuface daily since around May 2008
Honestly, can not live without it!
Maye it is all in my head Embarassed but I seem to always see a difference after I use it.
Especially on days like today- where I only had 5 hrs. of sleep due to Halloween party fun and having to go to work this morning Bad Grin
My routine:
Clean face.
Apply toner.
Apply some sort of gel: vitamin C gel, aloe gel or jojoba oil w/aloe.
Use derma roller softly and slowly.
Get dressed.
Apply moisturizer and a little make up.
After reading another post, I am going to try using only aloe with salt.

As an aside: about three times weekly I clean my face with a mixture of cream and ground aspirin. Sometimes I add honey or avocado. I put it on as a mask, leave it on for at least three minutes, climb into the shower, and rinse it off after lathering shaving.

I also use baby q about 4x weekly in the evening.
AND I have just ordered another toy (this one to be a torturous one! Shock : a dermaroller!

My skin is better: smaller pores, luminosity- I use only a dusting of mineral powder and mascara- in my late 30's I am enjoying the best skin of my life Very Happy
Don't know if it is ALL thanks to nuface- but def. thanks to EDS!

THANKS ALL FOR BEING SO WONDEFUL-- wish we could all get together and celebrate our beauty!!!

How and where do you view these great nu face result pictures of scalawaggirl? Thanks for any info.
She removed her pics and is not posting on EDS anymore.

I came here looking for reviews for Nuface. I have a feeling that scalawaggirl was a "plant" put here by Nuface - possibly an employee of Nuface - to get us all to order one. I hope not, but that is what it appears to be to me.

Why would she delete all her photos?

ok4ablonde2 - scalawaggirl was not a NuFace employee, and those were her genuine opinions about the device. Since she is no longer posting on EDS there is no reason for her to keep the pictures on the board, most people would do the same. She is actively involved with other boards. Hope this helps!

Scali was most definitely NOT a plant, and many of us are still in contact with her. Most "plants" are identified VERY quickly, and never rack up the high post count that Scali did before they are booted off the board.

Just something to consider before posting anything accusatory next time. Smile

I went through and re-read all the posts. I'm here to apologize to Scali for calling her a plant. She seems like a nice person, and very knowledgeable on skincare. I'm truly sorry, but since she's never here now, she probably won't see my apology. Embarassed

Hi, Ladies! I thought I would just bump this thread up and ask if anyone is still using their Nuface? And if you are, what are your results?

Shylass - most of us switched to facial exercises or/and Tua Viso as more effective means of toning faces.

I use it sporadically...

When I use it I experience a "freshness" to my face. I am 37--I have no wrinkles to speak of despite extensive sundamage so I can't say if it works for that or not.

I bought it because I wanted to address a soft jawline due to a 30lb weight gain in 1 yr. I wanted a magic bullit without surgery and I believed it would help. The result after 5 months? The NuFace is a lot of trouble for a little freshness...my jawline is still too full for my taste but in all fairness the device cannot reasonably eradicate weight gain. I think my expectations were too high.

Someone with more sagging and wrinkles may be a better candidate for the device...

I should probably try diet and exercise to get rid of the extra weight Sad

Hello all,

I'm 51 and have been very lucky with my skin over the years as I've never been a sun person. I am constantly told I look 35 however this past year my face is starting to fall. The dreaded jowels have appeared so I am frantically searching for something that will help. I almost purchased the suzanne summers thing but thought two handed application would be a pain so now I'm having a look at Nuface. Does anyone like it? Does it actually work? It's a lot of money so I want to make sure I'm not wasting it. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Hi Wendy - You may also want to look at the Tua Viso for sag. I have been using the Tua Viso for 4 weeks now and have seen a big improvement in sagging and wrinkles. There is a thread on Tua Viso and it has more positive comments than the Nuface overall. Good luck - DiPhx

Hi Wendy - The thread is titled "Tua Viso Users
(lililulu Take Care etc). It is in this section and if you can't find it, use the search function and type in Tua Viso.
You will run into it and if you scroll down a
bit, you will see the thread. Enjoy the reading - it's long but informative! DiPhx

is this the same as galvenic? or better than galvenic?

im still torn to choose between this, the Nuskin galvenic, or Rita's ultrasound/galvenic device!

My concerns are my pores. pitted scars, general anti age!

HI Calorblind - this is not the same as galvanic.
This is more for stimulating the muscles to enhance overall lifting and toning. Am not a specialist on pores or pitted scars as I don't have either. You may want to ask someone else on this forum about what to use for those issues. Either Kassy, Bethany, or Toby have
answered many skincare questions so you can PM
them or just put out a general thread. Am
sure the galvanic and/or ultrasound might be better for your issues or maybe even LED
lights. I have been using the AAlightsim for
over a year and started with the Tua Viso for about a month. Both of those have seemed to slow down the sagging, wrinkling, and given an even tone to my skin color. The LED's also
lightened a few age spots as well. Try
emailing one of the experts on this forum.

Hey, calorblind. I do not believe the NuFace will help with pores, nor pitted scars, nor do I think the galvanic or ultrasound will either. Possibly the galvanic or ultrasound with a very good topical for that situation, but you really would have to look at ingredients to see if there is anything that really works on pores (and I don't think there is). For your scars, have you considered dermarolling? That would be your best bet. Check the 302 thread (1st page). Boski has been helped by 302 with her scars, but it takes a very, very long time and you cannot use other products with the 302.

In the mean time, I think it's time to shop for a new micro-current device......

Any good results or recommendations from you guys?

Thanks.. Confused

Kassy, why don't you try the el-cheapo microcurrent gadget I bought on Ebay for $30.00. It's not a large outlay to make and you can use it whilst you sort out your Nuface problem. Who knows, you might even like it better - it also comes with an attachment for "pushing" vitamin C into the skin.

Hi, I was wondering if you could let me know the seller of the "el-cheapo" microcurrent device you bought on ebay. Is it the one from e-volution21? I was thinking of buying one, just to see how they work. I can't post a link, but the description is "Face Toning and Lifting Device.Microcurrent Stimulation
Reverses skin sagging /eyes/ neck/face/+collagen boost." It lists for US$45.

I have an "el-cheapo" microcurrent/LED device form e-volution21. The spa wear I work has the NuFace--I tried it and it current it delivers feels similar. The cheap one ($80 with shipping)is very small, is not made of as durable a plastic, has no specs, runs on A/C current (you plug it in as opposed to battery. It has two metal contacts on the handle: the manual says you complete the circuit by holding it, and thus it cannot be used on another person who isn't holding it. It has a dial adjuster number 1-10 for strength. It's quite strong at 10. It sometimes feels like it's delivering the current to my fingers rather than my face!

The NuFace, by comparison, is quite sturdy. The aestheticians at my spa use it for their microcurrent facial. The spa sells the unit for around $300 with the gel and the spray. Even with my employee discount, I couldn't cough up the dough for one.

You get what you pay for with these devices, I believe. I hope I don't go too gadget crazy and end up with a pile of junk I don't use or doesn't work!

Hi Everyone
I'm new to the forum, first time I've posted! Just saw the thread on Nuface Trinity which really interested me as I've just purchased one. I also have the Tua Trend, which I have only recently started using regularly. I also do Flex Effect and have been for the past 3 years or so. Had great results from Flex Effect but I still have the dreaded mouth pouches which are seemingly unmovable! Which is why I was really interested to see a posting from someone who had the Nuface device and what's more had had some good results, albeit early days yet. It's given me a bit of encouragement. Glad to see there are more people out there like me who will try almost anything to improve their looks! Surprised

Very Happy Well, I have finally settled in from my move, and I unpacked all my goodies that I have NOT gotten to use yet. (excuses, excuses). They are right here next to me, so I said, now is the time.
First I tried my NuFace Trinity, and I see an actual DIFFERENCE from one use! I keep looking in different mirrors to make sure it is not just the "angle" etc. I see jowl lifting. Yes, I do. From one 8 minute session (I dragged it out a bit longer).
I also will be using:
Lightstim, Facemaster, Tuo Viso (have not even opened that one yet).
I have never used any of these, I have collected them over the past few years, but was not ready. Now I am ready. Wink I also have conductive gel (ultrasound gel) as backup when I run out of the gels that came with the machines. I know the ultrasound will work with Facemaster, so I am assuming it will with the NuFace, as well? Thank you guys for listening, and I have to post photos in a few weeks "before and after" Smile
