Hi, i am currently using vita kombi 3 as recommended by the facialist. What is the main purpose of oxygen face cream and will it help heal scars and pimples?

Finally finished reading every post from page 1 to 85... took me 2.5 weeks!

My head is still swimming with info and what to try. When i got 1/2 way through, i thought i knew what i wanted.. but as i ploughed on, more products appeared (read vit h, apricot vk, silhouette etc).

Summary: Get prof recs on the products to use and try the samples first!

PS i really love the lymphatic massage diagram and notes.

Where can we get samples from now?

This question was asked often. Previously, it seems that JoElla was extremely generous with samples. However, recent posters mentioned a lack of samples. I understand EDS do not have KH samples either.

Any suggetions? Thank you Very Happy

snowstar, when I got my order from EDS for a full size KH item and requested KH samples, I did indeed get them!
PS - I saw your signature and wish I could adhere to it, but no.....=(
It's a cosmetic graveyard in my closet!

Thanks fawnie! I'm glad EDS has finally gotten in samples Smile

Hehe... the signature is to provide *some* semblance of self control! It doesn't really work though. I managed to stop myself from buying cleansers and faithfully used up 4 to 5 of them and cheated by giving a few away to speed up the process. By the time I was down to my last cleanser, I had a LONG wish list. One month later... wham! i had 5 sitting in front of me. The same story goes for moisturizers etc Razz

I was SO happy to find EDS as all my friends are makeup junkies and not skincare junkies!

Hi Ladies! Sorry I have been away for so long but real life got very demanding on my time. I wanted to pop in and give a quick update on what I am still using.

Oxygen Face- Still love this, I really think that this was responsible for healing my face up as well as shrinking up some bigger pores around my nose and cheeks. It has endless uses and ALWAYS makes my skin look fresh when I use it. I cant leave it on for an extended time cause I get greasy so fast here in TX, but using it as a 10 min. mask every day or every other has really been key in keeping my face clear. Will repurchase.

Essential mask- Sadly I my face became sensitive to the EO's in this and I ended up raw after using it so I had to shelf it. Will not repurchase.

Vita K 2- I had a bad reaction to this after a several weeks too, even if I used it as a mask my skin felt raw and sensitive after using. Would not repurchase.

Eye Cream- Still love this as well, takes about ten mins to really sink in but there is such a brightening/tightening/moisturizing of my eye area that the wait is well worth it. Makes an excellent lip treatment too. Would repurchase.

Face scrub- Love this mild scrub, not too rough or too light. Expensive but worth it for those who are scrub picky. Will repurchase.

Fruit Acids- For me this was very average. No other comments really. Would not repurchase.

Silhouette- Still haven't used this for the reason I bought it but it does a great job of healing up little body rashes/bites/cuts. Cant say if I would repurchase but will update later.

Chocolate cleansing- Not for me. Smells great tho. Would not repurchase.

Milk cleanser- Nice but I want a multitasker cleanser and this just didn't do the job of removing my MU. Would not repurchase.

All in all I think that this line is very good and worth the money if the products work for your skin. I would recommend starting with samples first and go from there.

I also have 3/4 of the Vita K 2 and a full Chocolate Cleanser if any one is interested please PM me, I really don't want to just throw them out.

I just purchased from EDS, Karin Herzog's Vita-A-Kombi with AHA and am unsure as to when to use it. According to Karin Herzog Canada, Cream Acids of Fruit should be used 3 times a week at night. Is it a stand alone product? Or, is the Vita A Kombi Oil and Vita-Apricot to be layered on top of it? I would appreciate any information!

Hi stovetop, sorry I don't know enough about KH to answer you question. In addition to AST Green Cream at night, I just started using the Professional Cleanser at night and love it so much I'm slowly adding more products.
The Mild Scrub is nice with the Cleanser to give it some ooomph, and I started using that 2-3Xweek.
I use the VitaAApricot now on top of my AOX serum and glycolic Vivite' eye cream in the morning. It leaves a nice matte finish, then I apply my Devita SS on top of that.
My pores are shrinking and my skin is positively glowy!

I've used the Vita 1 cream before, but unfortunately didn't get much results from it, apart from a stinging feeling after applying it

I really like to try the oxygen face cream.

Heard the idea of emitting oxygen into the face to kill the bacteria and free-radicals in face.
Have seen many good results from it Cool

Hi!
I can't remember if I have ever made any comments on this thread. I have read a lot of pages from this thread and if I remember correctly, my personal thoughts were that there was not much review and follow up, and if there was, it was always the same people.
I am a huge, huge fan of Cellcosmet, but I am always willing to try something new. This summer, I have gone camping and visiting friends who live in the middle of nowhere and discovered hard water!
Currently, I find that my bf is the cause of my break outs. I get them around my cheek or chin, because I would rest my head on his chest. That is not so bad, but with his natural skin moisture, it makes me break out! It is like that I am untouchable! Anyway, I kept it under control by exfoliating on regular basis.
I think that the Swiss are really the best when it comes to skincare products and I really have to give this line a try. In the last five pages of this thread, I have read some really good objective reviews and thank you for your review. I may have some questions in the future as I slowly give this line a try.
Just to let you know, I have placed an order on KH body lotion with ox 3%. I have no idea if anyone purchased any of the body skin care products? Can you share or point out what page is your review?
Next, I think I would like to get a sample of the vit a kombi face cream. It looks really popular and it must work.
I really look forward to getting my lotion and sharing my thought of it with you.

Skincare

P.S. I also purchased Barbor body lotion. (I find my skin got really dry recently and it is probably because I have not been moisturizing my body this summer and been using sunblock a lot and I am in the mood to try other brands.)

such a long thread to read! I was panic today seeing pregnant women should stay away from retinol products, that includes vitamin a...I recently purchased a few products that has those ingredients. now I am thinking of switching to the oxygen cream that does not have vitamin a.

My initial results with KH were very good - I thought it was evening out my overall tone, my eyes looked good and my t-zone problem was entirely eradicated. But in the last month I have sadly come to the conclusion that the products with oxygen are just not right for my face. My chin looks dreadful - I saw a photo of it the other day and I was horrified. I have not stopped breaking out and I am left with lingering acne scars for far longer than is usual for me. And my cheeks are blotchy.

Sadly, I have had the same experience--my once creamy complexion is blotchy, splotchy and covered in little red marks. However, a combination of the 3% body cream and the hand cream have been wonderful for my hands>

It seems as though there are extremes ends with this line - I've had great luck with it as a basic line. - Love the professional cleansing cream and the VKII and the eye cream is the best and yet others have terrible reactions wit the oxygen.

I think maybe it is so effective for some that it can be such the extreme for others.

Sure hope you find the thing that works....

I agree. While it didn't work for me, others have had fantastic results. I think people also get degrailed when they buy the whole line and overwhelm their skin (like me, sigh), instead of working the Oxygen products in gradually.

Picking Vita Kombi 1 as a starting purchase is a great way to try it out. If you have fabulous results after 4-6 weeks (and not less than that!), then go ahead and add a couple more products.

BTW, I started with Vita Kombi 2 - I should have gone more conservative, started with VK1, and then worked up to VK2 over time. I probably would have had far better results. Rolling Eyes

I am so happy to share that I got Oxygen Body 3% body cream. Dancing The texture is light and whipped, and it goes on very light. I found that the smooth firmness on my skin lasted about 10 hours! The scent is fresh and very light. I think I detect the scent of mint, but it is so light, that I am not even sure that is what I smell from this body cream.

I would repurchase KH Oxygen Body 3%, but I should warn you that 150 ml does not last very long!

How can I tell if my skin is clean after using KH Professional Cleanser?
I rinse and rinse using my muslin cloth soaked in warm water and gentle rubbing, but I still feel like there is product left on my face.

You shouldn't be rubbing and I found those round cotton pads (damp) work best. I use one for either side of my face & a third to get off anything that's left. You know when you've gotten it off..the cotton is clean and you don't feel it on your face when you've rinsed. It also rinses (and cleans) better if you leave it on for a minute (after massaging) and let it do it's work...love this stuff!

Wow, look at that--the new KH Camomile Face Cream has arrived at EDS! I wonder if that means that the Rose Face Cream is not far behind?

I'm not gracedy, but I wanted to say this about KH Prof Cleanser: I was having trouble getting it to "thin out" enough to spread the pearl-sized amount over my entire face, neck and decollete'. Now I place the drop of ProfCleanser on my finger and run water over it briefly, then rub my fingers together til it looks like a gel before massaging it over my skin. This seems to work better for me than just warming it with my fingers to "melt it". It really does leave my skin soft!

I end up doing that alot too, Fawnie, although some have said that doing it that way reduces the vacuuming effect of the Cleanser. I definitely use less cleanser though!
