This may seem weird, but my very favorite lip balm is Lansinoh--yes, it's the Lanolin made for dry and cracking nipples for nursling moms |

The Kiel's one is a all-time good one! I am using both Kiel's and Decleror's arromaessence lip balm, somehow it doesn't last moisturize long enough. But not greasy as Kiehl's.
Over all still prefer Kieh's. |

I work at an elementary school, and all the staff is on rotation to do supervision at recess time. I've been putting Rosebud salve on before I go outside to protect my lips from the wind and it's really worked.
I won't use it as a regular lip balm though- it's too oily feeling. |

At the moment, I'm in love with Cle de Peau Lip Treatment. I've only been using it for a month though. Other ones that I also love are La Mer The Lip Balm and Dr. Hauschka lip balm (stick and pot). I also quite like Sisley Nutritive Lip Balm although I find it's performance to be inconsistent. |

My latest is simple ... Chapstick Moisturizing Formula. It's really soft and smooth and has this yummy hint of vanilla smell to it (atleast it smells a bit like vanilla to me). |

I am having a hard time finding a lip balm for two reasons: they give me a terrible taste in my mouth, and anything with scent bothers me. Suggestions? I read somewhere about something called Balm Balm - has anyone used it? thanks. |

Hi and welcome sgresnic
I've not heard about the Balm Balm, hopefully someone else will post about that one.
However, I found vitamin e oil to be very good for dry lips. A couple of weeks ago my lips got really dry and sort of hard (because of the season) and no balm or cream helped. I put on a some pure vitamin e oil in the evening and woke up the next morning with soft lips. It has no scent and doesn't really taste much, besides it's very sticky and stays in place. This solved my problem so I thought I'd mention it as an alternative - even if it may be a bit off topic in the lip balm thread...
