I wanted to order from inhouse pharmacy but they don't ship to Belgium.
Do you know about any other suppliers shipping without prescriptions? I'll try to order from adc but if I'd be happy with the results I'd love to know that there are other suppliers shipping to my country just to put my mind at ease |

If you live in Belgium, can't you just ask a doctor for a Lumigan prescription? Surely the pharmacies have Lumigan there, and it will be much cheaper than ordering from ADC.
That's what I do, and I'm in Sweden. |

I wonder if anyone knows this, but for people who use Lumigan for glaucoma and they have to put it inside their eyes, I know they still get longer lashes, but do their eyelids also darken up, too? |
Yes, I have read a few random posts from glaucoma patients that mention getting the purple lids from using the drops inside their eyes only. So, apparently the discoloration can happen even half an inch or so from the spot where the product has been applied.
I have "raccoon eyes" myself now, and yet I'm very careful when I apply my Lumigan. I never even use it on my lower lashes, yet I have dark circles below my eyes, too. So, it's not good. I have to cover it with make-up.
But not everybody gets the darkening. I have to say, though, that is is by far the most disturbing (and ugly) side effect of using this product. |

RapidLash.
Thanks for the info! I will definitely give it a try! Lumigan is causing my lid to darken which is not good at all since I have fair skin!!! |

I just read on Wiki that bimatoprost (the active in this) has also been reported to increase fat loss - apparently, some people have noticed fat deposits around their eyes getting smaller. Now, this might be a good thing for eye bags, but not good if you have hollows or tear troughs.
It has been reported to impact an area called the "lid sulcus".

has anybody notice this??? I do not want to lose fats around the eyes! Fats around the eyes do help the eyes look more youthful. |

Doctors over here dont prescribe anything when you have no glaucoma. It's against the law. I've asked many of them but none of them would do it. |

I wondered why no one was chiming in!
Hello! permanent pigmentation and loss of fatty tissue around the eye?
Is this worth it?
See Wikipedia for the details!

No it was not worth it to me. Both times I had this (when using Jan Marini back 06) and this year with Lumigan, I could see it coming back. That is why I felt a lot better about using something else. Lumigan was drying so I had to add something and felt I wanted something that I did not have to worry or wait to see if I was going to have permanent darkness on my lids. Which I do. It has never gone away since last time and still looks bad. I have to tan my face with bronzer or use a lot of concealer on my lids! MAYBE it was my imagination it was getting worse because I was paranoid but I felt I should not be using something that makes me paranoid. They say that RL received approval for safety/regulatory status from both the United States and Europe
and it passed both Dermatologist and Opthamologist skin irritation studies. So that makes me feel like I can use this for years and not worry. |

I feel bad for those that have experienced side effects. I have had no darkening of my lids and it did not dry my lashes out at all. I guess I just got lucky. |

You are lucky and I bet the MAJORITY do not have these side effects. I'm always in the minority it seems |

I thought I'd chime in that I have been using it for about a month now, got mine from ADC.
I'm so bowled over with the results!!
My lashes have become super long and where I had no lower lashes in some places they are now thick and long .
I have had no side effects at all either.
I now look like I have tinted lashes! |

If anyone here has not tried tinting after they have had noticeable results, you gotta try it. It even adds more length. somemtimes the tips of our lashes are lighter than the rest so you can't see the full length. so when you apply mascara it is not only the stuff on the lashes adding length but it is adding color to the tips to make them look longer. (or REVEALS how long they really are) Not everyone gets the darker lashes from these products. I did not wait and see if it would for me. I just tinted them. It was amazing the difference it made for me. and the longer they get the better the tinting looks. It lasts pretty long too.
It is weird the first time I did it when I was wiping my mascara off at night, I kept wiping after it was removed because they looked like they still had some on! It is great in the summer because mascara can run from sweating and get in your eyes so you can go without it. Having a sun-kissed face and dark lashes can make you look lovely for summer.
Anyway just a tip. |

What tint do you recommend. My lashes are still a bit lighter at the ends. I have seen no effect on the color from the lumigan. |

Thank you. Sorry for the thread hijack, but I guess they are related.
Anything else you recommend to order from this site at the same time? |

I had many eyelash tints but after a few days you look like a piano. the roots start growing and you notice a big difference in color.
definetely not worth it for me.
I just hope the lumigan would darken my lashes because it's supposed to do it to most users. and if I don't give it a try, I won't know it |

My lashes are already black, it is just the tips that are lighter so I think it would work well in my case. It would be interesting to start a poll to find out who had experienced some of the different effects... darkening of lashes vs no darkening, length vs no length, side effects vs no side effects, etc.
Could do something like...
What are your results from using Lumigan or Latisse?
Increased length only
Darkening of lashes only
Both increased length and darkening of lashes
Other (please explain in reply)
Negative side effects caused me to discontinue use (please explain in reply) |

It seems the consensus is that there's no difference whatsoever between the two. |

only the prize, it's scandalous that they ask so much money for latisse, trying to benefit from naive people not knowing that it is basically the same product |

They are exactly the same. Latisse just sounds more cosmetic so they can charge more. Really silly. good thing some found an alternative way to do this (ADC) so not to put more money in that pharmaceutical company's pocket. Paying anything more than what it is really worth IS criminal. |

Not "basically". It is the exact same product, in different bottle.
Allergan (the maker) did the exact same thing with Botox. It had been used for many years for serious medical conditions before they slapped a new shiny label on it and started selling it as a wrinkle remover. |

I see you are also from Europe. You can order from ADC (if your country is not listed there just e-mail them!). I live in Italy and ordered from ADC. I was very worried because of custom fees, so I wrote them about it. They told me that they send the package first to Spain or England and then have it shipped from there to your country....so you dont have to pay any custom fees and your package is not getting stuck! It took around 3 weeks, though... |
