I don't think 3 weeks is long enough for any topical product to produce lasting results. Probably more like 3 months to see if there will be any true lasting results.

Happygirl For long term resuts l:The Illuminating Eye Care is the product that will provide the long term results so make sure that is part of the routine...either with the eye tuck or with use at night.
There are many ways that people apply these products but the first to try is the Illuminating Eye Care first and then the tuck. When I first bought the Eye tuck I didn't get the illuminating Eye Care(moisturizer). I discovered none of my eye creams under the tuck allowed the tuck to work...they were too rich. I order the Illuminating Eye Care and then things started working well. If you have tried using the Illuminating Eye Care and then the tuck and things aren't working for you....then you should try the tuck alone and see if you get the effect you want. Personally I never was satisfied with the result if I put anything over the eye tuck. My problem is eye bags and putting something over the tuck just didn't work for me.

The fact that there is film appearing might mean the product is not actually absorbing as it should. Is there a possiblity that you may have residue still on the skin from cleasner? The eye area needs to be oil free before the process is started.

Toby, I did not know this. What are you using to make sure the area is oil free?

And, 1 more question for you. Should the illuminating cream be used only once a day or is twice a day use recommended?

Zach is the expert when it comes to Easy Eye Solutions and If I was having any issues with not getting the results that I was after I would contact Zach Merrill. I do know if someone is having problems with the eye tuck working he makes sure they are applying it to clean and dry skin. If a person's skin is oily or if they use rich eye creams at night there could be an oil issue that would hinder the eye tuck from working as well as it might otherwise. Also some customers have reporting using a drop of visine with the tuck gives a tighter effect. My personal experience is the eye tuck works very well for me with the application process I have detailed in previous posts. I don't have oily skin and I don't try to apply anything over the eye tuck. My under eye area is perfectly smooth after application and stays that way until I take it off. I also have experienced long term smoothing of the under eye area and lessening of the eye bags. I do not have dark circles, but have had problems with eye bags, crepey under eye area, and to a small extent fat pads. These products have literally taken years off my looks. When I run into to people I haven't seen in a while I get comments about how young I look....yes I do facial exercises, and have done so for two years, but I also credit these comments to Easy Eye solutions. Nothing is more aging than a baggy, crepey under eye area. Thanks to these products I have absolutely perfect under eye area. And if you are wondering..... I do not work for Easy Eye Solutions....my love of the products is from sheer delight of the effect I see from using the them. I am dedicated to this thread to help others that struggle with under eye area problems, as I did. Although these products have produced amazing change for me, I realize that not everyone may have the same dramatic effect. I do believe however, that most people will experience a much improved under eye are both instantly and long term. You can't beat that! Laughing

rileygirl- The Illuminating Eye Care cream (moisturizer) can be used morning and night. The long term repairing of the under eye area comes from this product.

Yes, I understand the illuminating cream is the long-term product. Was not sure if you were using something (like a toner) to make sure your under eye area was completely oil free. So, the making sure your under eye area is free of oil is really just pertaining to those having problems with the eye tuck working for them, correct?

I don't have any issues at all, and I have great instant/temporary results so far with the combo. I will report back in 3 months if I have permanent changes from the product.

Yes that is my understanding that the focus on oil free is if there are problems with getting enough tuck. Sounds like you are doing great...just sit back and wait for great long term results. You know I was so satisfied with the instant results that I really never gave much thought to expecting the long term...when it happened I was really shocked Shock I might add it was the most pleasant surprise Laughing Keep up updated!!!

rileygirl--
it is so hard to say what kind of improvement i am getting with these products! there are days when i apply it and it really does seem to be doing something! but then there are days it actually seems worse. maybe it depends on the extent of my bags/dark circles that day. some mornings i wake up and they don't seem so bad in the first place. but again, it could all be lighting too! it is always a shock when i leave the house thinking i am looking pretty good/rested...and then catch sight of myself in a different mirror! yikes!

i guess i will just keep trying! Smile

toby--regarding copper peptides, do you recommend it for other areas of the face? or is it just too risky??

beeb,
I wish I had the knowledge and wisdom of a skin care specialist to answer your question about the usage of copper peptides but I don't. Since you are new to this forum I went back and looked at your postings on other threads so I might have some idea of your skin issues and age. I realize after looking at your postings on the 302 thread that you are dealing with numerous issues and have been have been seeking help from dermatologists that have given you conflicting information and various medications. I know you must be frustrated and confused at this point and over whelmed with all the information that is on this forum. Easy Eye Solutions are fabulous products but I think until you can get to the root of the underlying issues of your skin many products are only going to give you a band aid approach. I understand your reading and researching all kinds of approaches to find answers that the doctors seem to be unable to help you with. At this point I would not use copper peptides and I am going to email you some information about a skin specialist that could evaluate your skin and help through pictures and emails and phone consultations if you don't live in her area. I think if you get a specialist working with you to provide direction,it will help you avoid the pitfalls of trying measures that will only aggravate your existing condition. Check your email box here for an pm from me.

Now for the Copper Peptide issue...... even Nanci at ncnproskin is no longer recommending it for under the eye area. There have been others experiencing problems with the cross hatched issues. Now as soon as I say that, someone will be reading this that has had nothing but marvelous results with cps. But from my experience and from many emails that I have gotten from others it has caused cross hatched issues for some people under the eyes.

If Nanci is no longer recommending it for under eyes, I think that speaks volumes.

There is no way in HELL that I would consider using CPs anywhere near my eyes EVER again...I'm still paying for that lesson every time I see those lines in the mirror. Sad

Yes, I too was 'gifted' with xhatches as a result of using CPs on my undereyes, but I continue to use the GHK about 3x wk on my brow bone for day wear ....works great there for me.

Oh yes Nanci has my full permission for pictures and comments. Both of us had been on a product search for the perfect product for eye bags. When I discovered Easy Eye Solutions I called Nanci about it and she ordered some for herself. After trying it and being thrilled with the results, she decided to carry Zach's line.

Has anyone just used the Illuminating Eyecare cream without the other product?

Toby, I keep reading over the thread and looking at your pics and you look fabulous!!

While I'm still debating about the products, I'm truly appreciating reading about everyone's experiences. My under eye issues are one of my greatest concerns, but I would really like a somewhat "permanent" fix -- if there is one!!

After 5 months of use of EES I no longer have the cross hatched look, crepiness, and milia. The eye bags have been reduced 80% and that is without any products on. I seriously doubt that I could have achieved this result with surgery.

I definitely hear you on the $$ issue. I am trialing the products now, kims. Only 3 weeks for me, so still have several months to wait and see if this will work as well for me as it has for Toby. I will say to remember that everyone is different, and not everyone has the same results with the same products - unfortunately (it is all trial and error)!

I'm having great results with both products. But while I'm just about to run out of the Illuminating Eye Cream, I still have a fair amount of Tuck left. £ are a bit limited at the moment and, although I plan to save in order to buy both again (probably in about six weeks), I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck with a non-greasy eye-cream used under the Tuck other than EES's Illuminating.

I hate to be 'unfaithful' for the next six weeks, and wouldn't if both products had run out at the same time (or if funds were plentiful - how I wish I had some of the cash I wasted on some of my experiments during the last two years that went awry!), but alas I must be frugal.

Any suggestions gratefully received!

graceless lady, I tried a different eye cream under the Tuck (heavier than the illuminating cream) and the Tuck still worked great.

I am having an issue where whey I apply the illuminating eye cream, it looks like I have excess skin under 1 eye. I did not have this before I started the eye cream. It is hard to describe, almost like a little pouch of skin, which when I rub the illuminating eye cream on moves back and forth. I don't know what is going on with that. The Tuck still works great and you can't see the little "pouch" of skin after I put the tuck on. Not sure what is going on with that.

rileygirl,
Very strange about what is going on with one of your eye areas...Ummm no one has reported anything like that....... I knowing what the ingredients are in the Easy Eye Care and I really don't think there is anything that could cause that. But of course, anyone could be allergic to any ingredient but I think if that were true for you it would have been obvious early on and with both eyes. Anything else you are doing or using now?

I thought that too about the allergy, Toby. I don't think it is an allergy though, as there is no other reaction, and like you said it is not happening on my other eye. I am not doing anything new at all. I'll just keep my eye on it and see what happens. (I only get that look when I am rubbing the cream in and then the Tuck smooths the area right out.)

Hi Graceless Lady - I use the tuck without the Illuminating eye cream underneath - works better for me this way. As for me I may not buy the illuminating cream again and just the tuck....

Many thanks riley and sister - that's good to know!

I've got to say that the Tuck has been the one product that has done more for me than anything else I've ever tried. Being in my mid-40s with some moderate eye issues and being able to address them with these products has been like subtracting five years (at least) off the aging process. I know we're all different and not everything will work for everyone, but I'm very grateful that this has worked for me.

Now if only there was a similar product that could work a miracle on those n/l lines that are starting to appear!

Last night I saw a bit of an infommercial for a temporary wrinkle smoother/tightener serum (don't remember the name, but it *looked* similar to tuck.)

Anyhow, I just wanted to share a tip the Dr used when applying the serum, because I'll be darned it worked pretty well for me.

He applied a rice sized dot of serum to the undereye area and *briskly* massaged it all around till absorbed.. Then the client remains still for a few minutes, and it tightens further..

I tried this with the "Tuck" alone on clean dry skin this morning, and I'll be darned, it was the best tightening I've experienced thus far..(I rubbed it all around with ring finger quickly and briskly, just to the point it began to feel a bit tacky, then I just left it alone to dry. I divided the rice size amount, and used for both eyes.)

The dreaded bags are still very much apparent, but because the immediate undereye is so much smoother/tighter, it actually *lifted* the bags higher up and they do look better..

**For those who don't know me, please be aware that mine are extremely large *fatty* bags, that this product is NOT designed for.**

I don't wear makeup.. (If I'm going to an affair, a smidge of blush + lip gloss is all I can stand.)

Just did it on clean, bare skin.. Tomorrow I'll try it an hour after applying my C serum.
