It's hard to narrow it down to 3, but I have really seen improvement from Retin A and TCA peels (above 12.5%) and
the best makeup that changed my looks was probably concealer and eye brighteners -
I use The Balm, NYC concealer pencil, MUFE full over - they're all equally good.
Eye brighteners - Laura Mercier or Pure Luxe
I could go on about my true loves - mascara and eyeshadow - but no HG mascara yet...still searching! |

Hello everyone,
i've used many brand names like vichy, Roc, neutrogrena, and many others. But amazingly enough the ones that i was comforted with most were natural or organic ones ,may b due to my sensitive skin. Among these were:
Morocon Soap "Super Baldi Soap".
Honey & oat mask 3-in-one from "The Body Shop".
JJJ milk whitening peeling cream. |

That 3-in-1 honey oat mask/scrub from The Body Shop is nice. I've used it off and on for YEARS!
I'm sure it would be easy to make a home made version but I'm lazy and this works well... |

10% Benzoyl Peroxide (Persagel 10 atm) |

I am 36 and just seeing some subtle signs of aging, but have the best skin of my life despite break-out prone skin:
1. Proactiv Cleanser
2. Strivectin
3. Vivier 20 Serum
The key is to have radiant skin - it forgives a few wrinkles and spots.
Other keys: Drink LOTS of water, it does miracles; eat well -lots of veggies, no sugar or processed foods, whole grains only; get lots of sleep, nothing can replace it; if you have facial hair, wax it - you want light to radiate off your face, not highlight your wrinkles. I am also dairy free which cleared up a ton of my major breakouts, and eliminated my bloating - must be the hormones or something...and I LOVED dairy, so it proves that you can do anything you set your mind to and there are so many great non-dairy substites...Oh, and wear sunscreen - there are a million decent tanning products out there - Oil of Olay Touch of Sun is great and non-greasy; Remember, what happens on your inside is as important as the stuff we put on the outside... |

I agree with you about the dairy because not only did it affect my face but also my kidneys. It really makes you wonder how much chemicals are put into our food to keep it fresh. I find that goat milk does not get me bloated. |

Haha... My top 3 products are as follow:
1. Guerlain's Orchidee Imperiale Exceptional Complete Care Cream - Works wonderfully, leaves my skin soft, smooth and radiant. My face is not wrinkled, but I really like the cream. Try it and be amazed by the cream.
2. Hylexin - It reduces my dark eye rings. I work very hard in front of computer. Have lots of late nights. So, this is the only solution for my dark circles.
3. Guerlain's Flower Cleansing Cream - Cleanse perfectly, even heavy makeup. Rinses off easily without leaving oily film which I experienced using Shu Uemura's Cleansing Oil. And the worst thing is that the Cleansing Oil clogged my pores. I believe it could only be caused by the mineral oil in the formula.
I do try new products from time to time. I'll be glad to share with you more comments on beauty products. |
