'course it would have helped if I'd added the link DUH!

I checked on the iHerb site Ziggy, under "International Shipping" and found the following comment:

Quote:
Denmark, Norway, and Sweden: Many products are not allowed to be imported. Order with caution.

I'd recommend just getting one bottle as a 'test' ....just in case Wink

Thanks Anya, that's the answer I found at iHerbs too. Looks like that's where I'll be ordering from, as they actually do have Norway on their International shipping list and have reasonable prices it seems. Vitacost doesnn't ship to Norway I figuered, after registration and the whole shebang, lol

If AH istn't allowed here, I hope the worst thing that can happen is that I never get my product and it's just sent back where it's ordered from. In that case, I'd even get my money back (minus shipping).

I couldn't find the brand you're using on the patented Biocell Collagen II list from Judy? Or maybe I'm wrong, looks like they have Biocell Collagen II in them. Must be working for you anyway! Very Happy (I still don't get if Biocell Collagen II and Biocell Collagen II TM are the same).

Others have talked about digestive problems because of Glucosamine in the multiple joint supplements. Maybe you could try some pure HA pills?

Thanks! Someone else suggested that was the problem so I got the Source Naturals HA tabs. I'm almost at the end of that bottle, and I've noticed no difference in lips or face. The Source Naturals does not appear to work for me. Too bad that the MSM/glucosamine/HA tabs worked, but upset my digestion. Good luck to the rest of you!

Hi,

I'm a new member to this forum, but I've been reading and following the progress of HA (hyaluronic acid) for a while.

I live in Sweden and I started with ordering one bottle of Nature's way hyaluronic acid, then I ordered four bottles. I order my Hyaluronic acid capsules from N101.com, they offer great prices on hyaluronic acid capsules + the have a quantity discount. I think I bought 4 bottles for 10.49 each and the shipping to Sweden was for 6.50 USD.

Ziggy you can also contact the customer service and ask them to mark the box as a gift to avoid the hight custom fees and VAT.

Ideally I think you shoul put it on twice a day, during the day and when you go to bed. I find myself applying it more often though.

Thanks for telling me! I will check them out next time!

ps! everyone thinking about ordering ftom vitanetonline.com, like I ended up doing, be sure to watch the checkout process carefully before you press the last submit button, as the item number of Source Naturals Skin Eternal HA sometimes *changes*. You might end up with a different product (Skin Eternal w/o HA) like I did and I think also this other member from England.

Hi, first post...this is a fascinating thread and I just got 2 bottles of the Source Naturals Skin Eternal on eBay for $10, shipped Cool ....well I'm a longtime eBay seller so I always check there first...maybe I shouldn't have told you that lil tip haha Bad Grin
Can't wait to try it for my lips and my bad shoulder Pray

But anyway, what I wanted to tell you was, I tried the Hydroderm lip plumper a while back and saw no real effects...but I could not get past the smell which, to me, smelled just like a stinky ashtray. Blehhh. Not talking
I noticed one of the ingredients is nicotine something-or-other and I had to conclude that was it, because that is exactly what that smell was!! Phew! I returned it ASAP!

Hydraplenish with MSM definitely works for me. I can say too that previously I had used Skinglow by nutricology and it seemed to have the same lip plumping effects. Had just HA no MSM. They told you to start with 6 tablets for 20 days and then 3 per day thereafter. My preference is Hydraplenish, it does seem to produce more plump.

6 hydraplenish a day??! Holy Cow! I am only taking 2.. not really sure if I noticed a difference though.. I started with 4 the first couple days.. I would fly through a bottle of hydraplenish if I took 6 a day. Who told you to take 6 I'm curious? My bottle says: Take 2 capsules daily. For intensive use: Take 4 capsules daily. Did you ever take lower dosages and not see results? Maybe I have to take more...

Sorry, I probably should have made myself clearer. It was the Nutricology brand that said take 6 a day to start out with then drop back to 3. I originally took it not only for skin hydration but apparently it is really good for the eyes too so premature need for eye glasses will be less likely to happen (Of course it is already too late for me) but being I wear contacts it really does help keep my eyes hydrated more.

As far as Hydraplenish I always take 4 per day. I have not tried a lower dosage. Sorry so I could not tell you the results

Speaking of the HA capsule thread... I recently started taking the Biosil caps along with 2 capsules Jarrow with Collagen HA and it made an even bigger difference. My lips are bonafide pouty now. The weird thing is, they actually tingle and feel somewhat numb :O

Anyone else tried this combo or experience the tingly lips?

I became a little lazy with my HA and only recently have increased it again from 1 back to 2x 50mg a day. I am noticing a difference. I've ordered my latest batch from vitanet as vitacost doesn't have Australia listed as one of the countries it delivers to any more, and they haven't answered my email. So fingers crossed it all arrives without a hitch. My only regret is that it isn't available tp purchase locally in AU. I'll have to look into biosil now as well Smile

Hello everyone. I stumbled onto this forum yesterday afternoon and couldn't stop until I read every single post on all 22 pages. You have a fabulous forum and many very well-informed, smart, funny, and adventurous members. I'm hooked!

BTW, I'm in Dallas, one of the great shopping meccas of the world and plastic surgery HQ (second only to Hollywood). Hoping to postpone surgery with more natural stuff like HA.

I'm dying to try it. I ordered Source Naturals HA online. That was last night, before I saw the Whole Foods reference. Patience is not one of my virtues, so I will probably run out tomorrow and grab some at Whole Foods along with Lip Fusion at Ulta, then on to NM for Revive samples. I'll take lip prints and report back, hopefully with the same success.

I don't mean to ramble on. In case you couldn't tell, I'm a newbie. I've never joined any forum before. This is my first time! Please be gentle. Smile

Welcome to the forum Ms Vickie Smile I am quite new myself.

So far I have tried 1 box of Source Naturals Skin Eternal HA and 1 box of Hydraplenish. I cnnot say I have noticed any difference, except the "feeling" of plumpness. It might have worked, but in that case so little, that it wouldn't be worth it for me.

My question is if anyone have tried these brands and have better experience with other brands?

ps, Been driking lots of water, taken right dosage, haven't noticed it "go anywhere else" in my joints etc and I have been using Citylips and Lipfusion on the side. I might just be unlucky.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I find that if I ever use HA caps the same day as taking any type of allergy/cold medicine, then the HA caps Do Not Work on that day. Especially with something like Claritin D. I don't know if it's like this for everyone, but if you Do take daily allergy medicine and find HA isn't working for you, this may be why!

Oh great, I take Claritin-D almost every day. I sure hope that isn't the case. I don't really notice all that much either, but I feel like my skin/lips in general are much less plump when I don't take my hydraplenish. I'll have to stay off the C-D for a bit and see if I notice any difference.

I Know that there is a correlation for me between the Claritin D and HA de-efectiveness, because it is so obvious for my night-vision problems. I mentioned the night vision issue in another thread previously:

Olyn wrote:
I also take these. I use the Hydraplenish brand that comes with MSM. (I have tried the plain Hydraplenish w/o MSM and haven't notice a difference between the 2)...I definitely notice a difference in my joints being less sore, and lips being more plump. It seems like my skin is better overall too. But.

The reason I will probably Always take this from now on has to do with my eyes! I got Lasik surgery last year and suffered from severe night blindess while driving, as a result. I'm not sure if anyone is afflicted by this, but it is pretty devastating. Not only could I not drive at night...I couldn't drive in rain either. Even being in a car when someone Else was driving gave me a headache due to the intense glare from oncoming headlights/streetlights. Since I started taking the HA, this affliction has almost reversed! I can drive at night now, watch tv in the dark, go to the movies...all things I had been missing out on for about a year. I know it is 100% caused by the HA though, because if I forget to take them for even 1 day, that night my vision is terrible with the glare again.

My sister has allergies and dry eye syndrome, so she can no longer wear contacts regularly, after years of being able to. I got her to start taking the HA, because I thought it might help her eyes. She recently was able to wear contacts for her wedding, all day into the evening with no problem! And had nice plump lips to boot!

I hate feeling like I am dependent on it, but I love HA!
Very Happy

Update to that: My dad has also had the Lasik surgery and had some of the same problems I did with night vision issues (just not as severe). He was up for a visit last weekend and I gave him some to try to combat the 'halo effect' of driving at night. He called me on his way home to say he was blown away at the difference! He said he was going home to order some online immediately. Smile

So that's how I know there's a huge difference for me when I take Claritin D...my night vision is suddenly crap, and it's a very dramatic difference. LOL talk about 'seeing the difference with your own eyes!' Once I realized that bit, I started paying more attention to the lip plumping and noticed it was less as well. Of course, everyone is different but I did want to mention this! Smile

Wow it's really weird you brought this up. For the past year or so, and especially in the last few months, I have been having problems with my eyes. I too had Lasik over 5 years ago now, but never had too much of a halo effect. Well, recently I've been having problems seeing distances and I thought maybe my eyes were just getting bad again. However, this problem comes and goes. The days it happens I always feel like maybe there is pressure on my eyes from my sinuses or something, or possibly my eyes are producing more mucus (gross I know) and that's blurring my vision. I've been meaning to go to the doctor about it, but maybe I will experiment a bit with my C-D and HA. I'll let you know if I discover anything interesting. Thanks for the report!!! Very Happy
