Saphire,
You will love the APC cream, promise. If not you can send it to me, I need to buy more!
What BB cream are you using? I'm still trying to use up the last of my Jane Iredale Dream Tint I use daily as a light tinted sunscreen, and am on the fence about the Suntegrity products. JI has a new BB cream called glow time which looks nice. They are expensive!

Hi Avalange, I am still very impressed with the algae oil at night and it really is a gorgeous oil for the body as well ! I am going to order the full size APC to start using it consistently for the daytime. The travel size has given me the chance to see that my skin likes it as a product but not enough product to see real benefits as yet. I definitely agree with you that wearing makeup does not necessarily make skin look younger. Well not mine anyway. I am wearing a bb cream in the day now(I took the plunge finally and ditched the foundation for daytime wear) I prefer it, my skin can breathe and looks more translucent. Actually I too, have had more compliments re: looking younger for my age without makeup. I have never been completely happy with my daytime moisturiser and have changed it a lot, so I am hoping the APC cream will be a recently discovered treasure! Thanks |

I have never used real foundation (except a foray with Josie Maran's adjustable face color - and I liked it lots when I wore it ... but $$). I have a Japanese BB cream which I use very seldom and I bought Garnier also - also used seldom. Anyway won't give you anymore of that history 'cept to say I think less is more when it comes to many types of makeup... expecially as we get older. Careful application with restraint! is key.
I plan on purchasing some OSEA products next time I order through EDS. I really liked the APC - found it unexpectedly lovely. I'm sure this is as well. |

Avalange,
I know you are a fan of OSEA products, are you familiar with their anti-acne products? Can you recommend any?
Thanks! |

Hi fitgineer,
I don't have acneic skin, so cannot really speak to their effectiveness.
I know people who experience breakouts love the cleansing mud, and when I'm, erm, hormonal, it definitely helps clear up blemishes faster than my other cleansers. It also reduces pores and in my case, diffuse redness. I do love it and have come back to it lately because I'm dating a bearded man who kisses me nonstop and I have had some breakouts ever since we've been dating (I know, TMI?) I broke out my old botle of mud and have been using it, falling in love with it again. But I have just a few blemishes.
I also used to love the essential corrective complex, which is a high concentration of essential oils in carrier oils, but my most recent purchase of it seemed to contain less tea tree oil than previous bottles, and was less effective. I've been meaning to email them about it.
Overall, I think they made their name in lights with the ocean cleansing mud and the oil-free cream (which I've never really used) and the corrective oil, which has been copied by so many other companies. It's an excellent all-natural regimen to control acne in theory--perhaps others on here can speak to it's effectivity in actuality?

Hi Avalange
Yes, I'm hoping my skin will thank me for using the APC (still waiting for the full size, any day now!) I am using suntegrity bb light and I really like it, but then it is the first bb cream I have tried so I have nothing to compare it with. I am open to trying new products but I am determined to finish a product for once so I will wait until all the suntegrity is gone before I splash out on another one |

I have been reading a lot about this range, and have just ordered one of the kits. Really want to try the APC as my skin is being quite uncooperative at the moment! Think I need to simplify my routine.
My skin seems to have become reactive lately. |

I really want to order this but need to finish off my new bottle of argan oil! I really like algae in my skin care. I have a mess of Ahava and two APC creams in my cart at the moment, maybe adding the algae oil in won't do that much more damage. Thanks avalange, Jenefer Palmer should send you free jars of APCs for life! I googled her btw, she looks good |

Bermie,
I wouldn't try APC if your skin is reactive right now. I think it is an ideal cream for skin that is not too sensitive and that has an intact barrier function.
I'd wait for your skin to stabilize before you try it. That said, the algae oil is really beneficial to sensitive, rage-y skin. I think it is really nourishing and calming.

Hahaha, I wish!!!
I may be really vocal about their products here, but I'm definitely not their biggest customer. They sell the line in spas, like at the Four Seasons. I saw it was the skincare of the spa in the Beverly Hills Hotel. They may sell most of their products through aestheticians.
