I have used Obagi for over 10 years. It can no longer help removing my freckles, what else I can try?

Many people build up a tolerance to hydroquinone (HQ) and now even Dr. Obagi recommends using it for only a few months at a time. He also says long term HQ use can cause even worse pigmentation.

Obagi NuDerm stopped working for me after 8 months and I now have a patch of melasma which didn't exist before NuDerm. Because of this I am now using azaleic acid (Skinoren brand) in the AM and mixed with 0.1% tretinoin cream in the PM - this is considered to have better effect than 2% HQ and almost equivalent to 4% HQ.

I also just started trying The History of Whoo Seol line, which seems pretty good so far (meaning my melasma hasn't gotten worse).

Great advice. Thanks! This History of Whoo looks interesting too.

Hi!
the whoo line is effective on the skin's glow, it does not act much on freckles Wink

Laser is needed. If it's inherited freckles, laser can treat it.
