| I do not have the whole obagi nu derm system. I just have clear and tretinoin gel (not cream). At night, is it okay to layer the clear on top of tretinoin gel? Before, I used to use clear before tretinoin and I noticed that I would end up getting white patches or hypopigmentation in my skin in certain places. So I stopped using the clear for a week or two and the hypopigmentation went away. Then, later I tried using tretinoin and layering clear on top. I haven't gotten any white patches or hypopigmentation. Is this okay to do or are you really supposed to put clear on before using tretinoin? |

| Nietzo, I always used clear first and then use tretinoin with blender. I think Clear should be used first. |
