Hello everyone.
I’m looking for guidance on bed wetting therapy for children. My 7-year-old still experiences nighttime accidents, and I want to explore effective treatment options beyond basic reassurance.
I’ve heard about behavioral therapies, moisture alarms, and even certain medications, but I’m unsure which approach is best or safest. We recently started working with a therapee who suggested a combination of routine adjustments and positive reinforcement techniques.
Has anyone tried structured therapy programs or professional interventions that showed consistent results?
Any guidance on making the therapy supportive without causing stress would be appreciated. |

Have you gone the standard route of talking to your pediatrician and then a urologist to rule out any physical issues?
My niece had issues and they had to do a few trial and error bladder emptying and relaxation techniques also.
I'm sure you have already gotten to the no drinks after a certain time rule or sodas as they can cause bladder issues for some children.
Hopefully others have some good ideas to share and wishing you the best as I know this is a difficult dilemma. |
