Helen, I agree with Alley. If I were you, I would stop the RA in the morning, and only use it in the evening. Otherwise, your "routine" looks spot on! |

Thanks. Alley, could I ask why did you stop Obagi after using 3 yrs? how is your skin at present?
Rileygirl, I wonder if I could use Retin A only on the brown spot area at AM? Do you think Retin A is helpful for diminishing brown spot? |

I think Retin A will help diminish the brown spot, but the main ingredient in Nu Derm to diminish the brown spot is the hydroquinone in the Clear, as well as in the Blender. |

Helen I stopped using Obagi because I went to a new aesthetician who told me I needed to find another product line. She was very concerned that I had been apply the hydroquinone 2x's a day for 3 years. I never switched to the maintenance routine - which was my fault. So I stopped using the NuDerm in February.
It has only been in the last 2 months that I have really noticed the difference. It seems less firm and some minor wrinkles seem to have cropped up. I am hoping that the retin-a and exodrem are going to be enough to get it back to where is was before but I might throw in the blender every second day for good measure. I am just relieved I am a keeper and did not throw out all my Obagi products.
rileygirl is correct that the clear and blender with the hydroquinone is what will eliminate the brown spot. |

Hi, I am looking for opinions from experienced Obagi user. I have been using the whole system for 5 weeks, I don't peel and I don't red, almost like no reaction. Should I still continue using it or would it take longer to see result? I have finished the IPL 6 weeks ago. I still have a lot of brown spots on my nose. My derm recommend Obagi to finish the job, but I don't see reaction at all. Would somebody give me advice?

Maria, I answered on the other thread that you asked this question on. But, short answer, 5 weeks is not long enough to see any results. |
