Acne-battling clothing line released
TORONTO, May 30 (UPI) -- A line of clothing using special fabrics to treat acne, rejuvenate aging skin and provide a sunscreen was announced in Toronto Friday.
The Sunsoul company's casual, sports-oriented clothing line comes in yellow or blue, both of which use "patent-pending technology that fuses fluorescent compounds to the micro-fiber of the material, resulting in the conversion of harmful UV rays and broad spectrum sunlight into amplified narrow bands of beneficial light when exposed to the sun," a release said.
The blue line is suited to those with acne, as it creates blue spectrum light, which the company said has been proven in dermatological procedures to be effective in eradicating acne-causing bacteria.
The yellow line creates the same yellow light that is the foundation of the rejuvenating laser treatments used by dermatologists. Both lines also provide sun protection of UPF 50, the company said.
Prices range from $70 for a visor or baseball cap to $140 for a long sleeved top as seen on the company's www.sunsoul.com site.

This is crazy, but once they're out I'll consider getting the blue (for acne) t-shirt. I struggle with acne on my chest and upper back and shoulders. It's mostly my chest. basically there's a forest of pimples just under my skin on my chest all the time. If I ever let up my vigilance even for a day they come out and take weeks to get rid of. |

They're out! It looks as if they've posted some clinical studies and trials on the US side of the website. |

They could be beneficial for people who spend time out in the sun, since the sun activates them. Plus they have a UPF of 50+ which is nice too.
I don't do much outside, but I would consider one of the car window filters in yellow.

The fluorescent technology has many potential applications in addition to improving the appearance of skin troubled by blemishes, such as improving the appearance of damaged skin, skin rejuvenation and hair growth stimulation. Our fluorescent materials may be used for shirts, hats, face cloths, umbrellas, tents and home and car window filters. SunSoul is developing these options right now. |

I must say there are so many new products which just keep amazing me sunsoul is one of them. My boyfriend had horrible acne on his back… these of us who had acne would know how uncomfortable and annoying it might be for one to constantly put creams, which prevent acne or use special lotions etc. especially that the back is not that much of a reachable area to apply all these products on. So that’s where sun soul comes into play!
It is amazing that after just one vacation of being in the sun the acne started disappearing plus even the acne scars had lost their redness isn’t that something! Btw I am talking about the Blumode invention of sunsouol. I believe that if the yelomode is as much effective as the blue .. bye bye rankles fine lines and welcome young looking skin. btw i'll try to post pics soon just to show you how amazing the result is really is. |

there are many web site selling sun protective clothes with UPF50+ and they have been around for years (and much cheaper too!) The acne battling clothes, however, are something new. |
