Hi ladies! As you know I've recently become addicted to Zenbiotic's Phyto Moisture. I'll be needing to reorder soon, but I was looking at their website and noticed their Oxypro moisture, which has very tempting ingredients such as amino acids, organic aloe vera, etc. Has anyone tried out the Oxypro moisture? How did you like it? Does anyone know the difference between this and the Phyto Moisture? I emailed Robert from Zenbiotic with my question so I'll let you guys know what he says, but in the meantime I thought I'd see if anyone else has tried it. TIA! |

I can't say for sure, but from what I gather from the descriptions I though the OxyPro was for more mature skin while the Phyto was for younger skin. |

Liz... please post when you find out. I'd like to know as well. It's getting cold and very dry up here in Toronto... I'm always worried that the phyto won't be enough for me when the deep freeze comes... |

Ok, here's the reply from Robert:
Ok, the Pro Oxy Moisturizer...this product was originally set aside for spa treatments only. However, because on rare occasion, someone might be too sensitive to an ingredient in the Phyto Moisturizer, we will recommend they use the Pro Oxy Moisturizer. The Pro Oxy is best in spas because they can use an application tool to swab the skin...similar to a large cotton swab which one can contruct oneself. The Pro Oxy does not contain the herbal density that the Phyto does but contains instead stonger technology. I'll be creating a 1oz sample of the Pro Oxy for customers to try out but for now, if the Phyto is working for you, then I dont recommend switching to the Pro Oxy.
So, I guess I'll be re-ordering the regular Phyto Moisture, but I plan on also asking for a sample of the Oxy Pro, so I'll definitely report back.
Amaska, I too have been concerned about dialing up the moisture once cold weather hits. Right now I've been spreading one drop of camellia oil over my face while it is still damp from the phyto moisture, and it has been working extremely well. Also, when I place my next Zenbiotic order I'm going to get their intense moisture (forget what it's called...) to use with the phyto moisture, so I'll let you know how it goes! |

Actually, I have the Pro Oxy (It was an impulse buy ). (I just want to say that I've only been on the zenbiotic regimen for ~4 weeks, and my skin may not be "adjusted" yet, so please consider my observersations in light of this)...
It seemed that my skin absorbs the Pro Oxy less readily than the phyto, and I guess is overall less moisturizing, and even less soothing than the phyto moisture. Since I'm using tazorac and, recently, azelex, my skin is quite sensitive and dry in areas, and though I really need moisture, I don't want to pile up anymore moisturizers over the phyto (or other zenbiotic "step 3") Actually, the only reason I got so excited about the line was the concept of these "spray" moisturizers.
But... it may benefit other skins...

I actually have both as well. The ProOxy helps relieve inflammation for me. I had an allergic reaction to an eye product and the ProOxy helped relieve the redness and swelling. |

Hi Liz,
Did Robert send you a sample of the Pro Oxy? I asked for one in my order and he said "Unfortunately, due to the high base cost of producing these products, I cant send out free samples of our more costly items such as the Pro Oxy Moisturizer". He also said that he is in the process of putting together samples that one can purchase from the website. So that will be nice.
Maybe he meant that the sample of the Pro Oxy was for returning customers... |
