I liked the Osmosis products (Replenish, Refresh P.M., POLISH, Boost) but I hated the packaging...
The pump bottles (esp. Replenish & Boost) didn't work properly and I basically had the serums all over the bathroom and me (annoying, when you ruined white clothing with dark orange serum...).
Polish was the best I've ever used but when I haven't used it for a week or two I couldn't get out the thick purple raspberry jam of the pump bottle !
Anybody else had the same experience ?
Hm, I'm wondering what Dr.Ben told to Bushy?!... |

Same here. My PJ, counter, mirror... everywhere were spotted by Enlighten. Thank God I only used it at night. I think the texture is too thick for the "head" they used. |

Same here. The products had a way of sputtering *everywhere*. I could not get Refresh AM out of the bottle no matter what I tried including the quick fix posted by JoE. I had to unscrew the top every time I use it. Same with Polish, Boost and Cleanse. I found that you also could not do half a pump, it was one sputtering pump or nothing. The newer bottles are much better although still not perfect.
According to JoE, the revised Polish will be lighter, will spread more easily and I assume, dispense more readily considering the change in texture. It is intended to be more of a firming masque now. |

The new Polish should work better in the pump bottle. I have the newer version and there are no problems with the pump as the formula is now quite runny. Basically the enzymes were changed to make it more firming.
The pumps have always been a bother to me and what I do is hold a plastic spoon in one hand and carefully pump into the spoon. I say carefully so that you don't get any splatters. I do the same with Refresh AM but only partially pump so that only a small amount comes out. They still have a lot of work to do on the pumps and I think they are going to have to bite the bullet and spend a bit more money on the pump bottles. |

The reason I haven't posted my thoughts on the Osmosis pdts I'm using is that I went on a major pick-fest and totally ruined my skin. I must have some OCD thing
Anywho, I'm using Purify, Clarify, Renew, and Replenish. Just started two days ago adding in Boost and Enlighten (for those d@mn acne scars).
First, I really like the simplicity of the routine. No long wait times. I kinda like the pump bottles b/c I don't feel like I'm using too much and wasting the product.
I really like the system. I don't have any flakes at all. I used to constantly have those esp around the nose and mouth from retinoids/bha. My skin is smooth (the Purify is an exfoliating cleanser so I don't even need a scrub!), I'm having some light purging (JoElla helped me out with this), my pores are clear, I don't have an oily T-zone during the day or when I wake up. I love the ingredients, too.
The biggest test will be to see if the Boost and Enlighten can undo the damage I've done by picking. I think (once my skin has healed) I'm going to 40% glycolic peels once a week to help it along. So far I have to say I'm a BIG fan |

Thanks for the update tsjmom. It's good to hear that Osmosis is agreeing with you. I have been using the line for two weeks now myself but it's too early for me to decide what I think for sure. I have had some purging which is improving but my skin hasn't settled completely yet. I have been using the Purify, Clarify, Renew, and Replenish the majority of the time but started adding Boost in two nights ago and I really like this product. My skin looks better immediately after using it.
My biggest issue is still clogged pores on and around the nose. I extracted most of the gunk right before I started Osmosis but a lot of it has returned. I am considering pre-cleansing with an oil cleanser before using the Purify to help soften the sebum so it will come out more easily.
I will update later once my skin settles down and the purging/adjustment phase is complete. Tsjmom, good luck with the Boost and Enlighten and please let us know how things continue to go. |

Sounds promising, tsjmom! Looking forward to when you check in next. Same with you mamawalnut!
By the way, has anyone used the PSJ Mineral D-Light Matte Tint? Here is the ingredient listing:

For those that are still interested in Osmosis, I thought I would post an update as I had used this line for several months.
I stopped using the line about a month ago but have been holidaying a bit so haven't had time to give an update. For the first 6 to 8 weeks, I felt this line was good for my skin but unfortunately, as time has gone by, the only thing I can say is that my skin has had enough. I have no idea what those users of CPs call the "uglies" but my skin had become very ugly. The pores didn't look clean, my skin colour was looking sallow, I had numerous breakouts for the first time in a long time, and my skin looked very unhealthy (I know when my skin looks healthy because the last month back on Remergent and Valmont has made a huge difference - can't see any pores, skin looks clean, breakouts stopped and have all cleared, very healthy colour and condition, tiny lines I had not seen before now gone).
I don't know why this happened and perhaps things may have improved again after several more months but I just felt that my skin was starting to react in a negative way and I was not prepared to let it get any worse.
So I am back to my staples, Remergent and Valmont. |

Why did you stop using it Havana?
So far I'm liking the ease and simplicity. I don't know about fine lines yet. I have oily skin, so I'm wondering if this line is better suited to oily girls?
I have to admit, bushy and bugaboo (?) have me a little concerned. Lexi, any updates? |

As long as everybody is updating...
I have put my Osmosis products aside to try 302. I didn't find Osmosis did anything bad to my skin but I didn't see anything good either. My issues of oiliness, clogged pores, and fine lines didn't change. Since starting 302 I've seen improvement in all areas. I'm keeping my products to alternate with 302 later but doubt I'll repurchase any of them. I liked using the products (except for the orange tint left on my face by the Renew) but just didn't see many results. In all fairness though I only used the line for a month so it's possible that more results would have come later. |

I think it's possible for Osmosis users to experience CP's 'uglies' since some of their products contain GHK Copper Peptides (like Renew and Replenish).
Mamawalnut, have you tried BHA? It is a pore exfoliant and cleans your pores. Clarisonic brush, if you have one, might help too. I have oily skin with enlarged pores on my cheeks and blackheads on my nose and they both help. I would not recommend OCM, if you'd ever thought about trying it. I tried jojoba oil OCM and it caused me to break out around my mouth/chin. Also, a good cleanser would help. I make my own DIY cleaner that I really like. |

Hi Llydia,
I could write a novel on the many things I've tried to keep my pores clear, all with varying degrees of success (none really great though). I had fairly good results with Paula's Choice BHA a while back but put it aside to try other products. The question now is whether the 302 products I'm using are compatible with BHAs; I know AHAs are a no-no. I will check into it though. I do use the Clarisonic and have tried OCM before but wasn't very consistent with it. Thanks for the suggestions. |

I've decided to use the 302 to tackle my acne scarring, so I stopped my Retin-A and use Clarify to help control my breakout. My skin is purging, but those pimples seem to go away faster than usual. I also tried a few combinations and learned that if I use Clarify alone without layering another topical or moisturiser it is the most effective. I'm liking this product and hope it gets better over time. |

I have been using Osmosis in my clinic for almost a year. All of my clients love it and no one has seen any decline in their skin. In fact, they continue to say it looks amazing. |

BeautyPro - since you have so much experience with it (and say no one has seen a decline in their skin), what IMPROVEMENTS have you seen with it? I like the philosophy of Osmosis, like the products, but I certainly am not expecting a "decline" in the appearance of my skin.
It's great to have someone with a great deal of experience with Osmosis and with skin care in general. Welcome |

I would love to hear more about the results seen with Osmosis. I'm thinking of trying the mend intro kit for sensitive/rosacea skin but I can't find the complete ingredient listings for these products. The Osmosis website does list for some of the products but I get the impression it's not the complete listings. And there's no ingredients listed for Mend but I did find out it contains phosphatidylcholine, cetearyl olivate, willow herb, cherry bark and almond oil. |

havana, thanks so much. I didn't see ingredients for mend and cleanse but went ahead and placed an order for the Mend starter kit - cleanse, mend, replenish, polish, shelter. I am always hesitant to purchase something new with my easily irritated sensitive, break out/clog prone skin - getting tired of spending money on products that are no good for my skin.
P.S. If anyone has ingredient listing for Mend and Cleanse, please post. Thanks. |

when you receive the kit, it should have full disclosure of ingredients on the box. I ordered the Clarify kit and that's how mine came. |

I received the Osmosis Mend starter kit but they don't list the Mend or Polish ingredients on the box. I find this quite strange. I have the Polish ingredients but I'm still in need of Mend. It's funny because there are products listed that aren't included in my kit like Calm and the Pure Raspberry mask. I'm thinking perhaps Calm would be the same ingredients as Mend but with the difference being the amount of the actives. I will have to contact JoElla. She had already given me some of the ingredients but not the complete listing. I will be sure to post when I get them in case someone else is interested. |

That is strange, Cuties. I wonder if they are using up old outer packaging, maybe? It would be great if you could post the ingredients when you get them. |

JoElla is great, she responds very quickly to messages. Unfortunately, she did not provide the ingredients list. She said only the full-size product list the ingredients and since the Mend trial kit is new, it is not listed on the starter kit. She said Mend is more gentle than Calm, half the strength with .5% Retinaldehyde. I do know some of the ingredients it contains: Niacinamide, Acetyl Salicylic Acid, 3 Beta Glucan, Chorella Vulgaris, Phosphatidylcholine (liposome that surrounds each ingredient), Olivate from Olive Oil, Willow herb, Cherry Bark, Almond Oil. |
