I'm glad you got some goodies that you wanted to try in the tubes, Freefall. You talked about your Miami address -- where are you now? And would you let us know how you like the Laser in a Bottle when yout try it?
And ps - I'm still dealing with New Beauty over their wretched customer service. Stay tuned
Happy New Year Everyone!

That is awful! The only acceptable response to a problem like that is "I'm so sorry, we'll fix it right away".
I'm living on an island off Honduras but I have a mail forwarding service in Miami. It costs about $3 a pound for air freight although it takes a lot longer than it should. There are daily direct flights from Miami to San Pedro Sula where the packages go through customs and then it's 2 short flights to get here 25 minutes and 15 minutes, so it shouldn't take a week, but it does. The good thing is that packages under 25 lbs don't get any customs duties charged on them. This is a big improvement over Mexico where we lived for 6 years before this. There we got charged between 40% and 100% duty on everything, even things that were supposed to be covered by NAFTA and things that we were supposed to be able to bring in duty free to repair the yacht because we qualify as a ship in transit. Most of the time the stuff arrived damaged and with bits missing.
When I start using the Laser in a Bottle I'll let you know.

I got my 2nd tube. I am not impressed. 2 full size products, which I won't use, and very tiny samples of everything else. The only thing I love is the whitening toothpaste/gel. I cancelled the testtube. I don't think it is worth it. |

Yep - a lot of companies have a lot to learn about good customer service
Oh, the things we do for beauty! When I go to New York to visit my brother, shopping for skincare and makeup is the first thing on my list!
Looking forward to hearing your experience with Laser in Bottle. |

Those two full-sized products didn't get good reviews on MUA. I have tried a sample of the ROC cream before and it didn't do anything for me.
Hmm, I wonder how many others have been disappointed with the test tube program...?
Glad you liked the whitening gel though, rileygirl. I'll give it a try too |

Hi all. I signed up for this program when it first started. My credit card was charged right away. Unfortunately, the product never came. After a few months, I called & they said they'd ship it immediately - some sort of oversight. It never came so I cancelled my order. Everyone who works there was very nice.Just make sure you get the product. |

Hmmmm, I need to check my credit card history. I signed up for this I think around the end of November and haven't received anything yet. It sounds like this may be a pattern... |

I just got my 1st "Test Tube" and am excited and posted a new thread - and then lotus003 told me there already is a thread.
Inside the Test Tube I received today:
SuperSmile Professional Whitening System (full size product - 1.2oz accelerator; 1.75oz toothpaste)
BABOR 24-hour Selection Ultimate Care Cream (3ml)
BioElements Sleepwear .25oz
jane iredale - The Skin Care Makeup - Mix and match the various shades of jane iredale PurePressed Minerals SPF 18 pressed powder
Lancome Secret De Vie (5ml)
Purpose Redness Reducing Moisturizer w/ SPF 30(full size product - 2.75oz)
RoC® Resurfacing Facial Peel Kit (1.3oz resurfacing facial peel; 1.3oz post-peel nourisher)
Skingenic Regenerating Moisturizer Lychee Complex (.3oz)
Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream (.1oz)
CaliDerma Gift Certificate - $25 off a minimum purchase of $50
A previous Test Tube included:
* Dr. Brandt's Laser in a Bottle (3 week supply) est. $40
* GoSmile Weekender Kit est. $15
* Obagi Systems Professional-C Eye Serum (full size bottle) est. $75
* Jane Iredale PurePressed Pressed Minerals SPF 18 est. $15
* Babor HSR Lifting Eye Cream est. $15
* NIA24 (10 day supply) est. $20
* $25 Spalook.com gift certificate - yes that's $25 - with no strings attached!
The magazine also has a free signup for "BeautyPass": by becoming a member, you’ll receive a weekly newsletter filled with the latest beauty and cosmetic enhancement information straight from the experts. As your first of many member benefits, you will receive a $20 spalook.com gift card via email to use any way you like.
I like to try new products so I like the idea of the Test Tube. I probably won't use all the items but will give away some and, with the gift certificate, I think the price works out well for me. |

Like Montrealgal, I am disappointed that this is not available in Canada. I would SO love this.
If anyone hears that this is being shipped to Canada, (or a similar testing program),please let us know!
Thanks! |

I also just bought this magazine couple weeks ago. The magazine is great, but not sure about this sampling... Of course 25 dollar is like nothing to spend comparing with 1.5K a year I spent on other beauty products. But, i really hate to pile up too many products in my drawer... |

I am so tempted to try this program and hoping they fixed the bad customer service by know. I know they raised the price by $5 since it first started. Has anyone tried this recently and if so how do you like it? Also, would you say the products and sizes you get are worth out? |
