Hello,
I went to aesthetician today and while she was promoting La Prairie product (which I detest)she asked what kind of products I use. I went on saying a very long list of lines that I had used in the past and now and when I mentioned Vivier eye firming cream she said that one of her clients lost eyebrows because of this cream She said that her client put it around her eyes and some of the cream covered her eyebrows and they fall out because of the ingredients in this cream.
I used this cream before and I do not put it on my eyebrows on purpose, I don't think anyone does it, but it could go there when I sleep or exercise. She got me concerned and I went home to check the ingredients list. I didn't find anything in the list that could cause eyebrows or hair loss. Here is the ingredients:
Water/Eau, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Squalane, Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Propylene Glycol, Ruscus Aculeatus Root Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Extract, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate, Jojoba Exters, Glycerin, Pent Grain Wax (Hordeum Vulgare), Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Behenyl Alcohol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Allantoin, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract.
She also said that she read some article, of course she didnčt remember which one and where that this cream may cause eyelashes and eyebrows loss.
Please, let me know what you think. I think it was just weird marketing trick on her side. I just want to make sure I am not missing anything. |

I think you got her number spot on, at least 2 ingredients off the top of my head are known for encouraging hair growth, Horse Chestnut extract and Rosemary extract! I don't see anything that would cause loss of hair!
