I see Jedder, just wanted to say i don't believe Loulou's had surgery for wrinkles, sag and such!
also just to say that my friends and i began eating natural diets at age 25 or so ..eliminating sugar and other refined carbs, and unprocessed foods, eating tons of deep green leafy veggies, no chemicals in our bodies or in our homes....only natural medications, etc...and for some of us, like me, beginning to eat raw/living foods decades ago.........
so for me, looking the way Loulou does at 48 is natural.and looking older really is 'unnatural' in a sense......looking like Ellie does at age 69 is unusual..but like i have posted i do have a friend who i think will 'make it' to that age w/o anything done and looking pretty much like Ellie does w/plastic surgery, etc...
and at age 60 i still looked like Ellie does now..i mean with my own looks of course...it's just been this past year for example that i've gotten my first baby marionette lines and wrinkles above my lips..it does make me sad when i see how women age unnecessarily..i've never really posted this before..but for whatever reaon feel inclined to now. |

Jedder, Loulou was only 46 at the time of making her last dvd (she now had sent out a small tidbit of a new dvd to those who signed up to discover more about her new program.. at age 48 )...really at that age (46 or 48 ) i def had no wrinkles or sag..even w/o doing facial exercises(prob cause of my diet and genetics)..so i totally believe she's had no surgery ...she did admit to having filler under her eyes some years ago...which she said has long ago dissipated...(and actually left some blue-tinted skin in it's wake)...and cosmetic nose surgery a couple of years ago. |
I just want to make something clear to members of the forum:
Permanent fillers ... sometimes referred to as semi-permanent fillers such as Artecoll or Artefill (polymethylmethacrylate microspheres suspended in a solution bovine collagen) never really disappear. The bovine collagen will be metabolised by the body, but the PMMA beads remain forever. People such as LouLou will always benefit to some extent from this type of filler, but aging does continue. Certain members of this forum have had fillers such as this; I am sure they could offer more on the subject if anyone is interesting in knowing more (this thread may not be the proper place though). |

JasmineRosie - You are probably right in what you say.....i do believe the stresses and poor diet in modern life have an awful lot to answer for.
I have recently tried to give up sugar myself, and now eat one sugary item per day - so for me, thats a start......if you have any tips regarding diet please pm me : )) |

oh, and neck wrinkles, and sag, too!!!..(began to see some sag in my neck at age 63) but it's been only at age 64-65 that i really started to 'age'...i know it's partly genetics..but i don't believe it's fundamentally genetics....so i would like to encourage other women to at least consider that aging as we commonly think of it isn't really what it has to be... with a truly natural lifestye.
(which i think is the positive message that Ellie is trying to give..too bad that she's not being more open about the outside 'help'she has received for her look..perhaps this thread will change her perspective about that!) |

I agree I think Lou looks great. I know some time ago she and others who had fillers under their eyes mentioned that with exercising their eyes it didn't last very long either.

Temporary fillers need to be redone since they do disappear over time (whether you do facial exercises or not). Permanent fillers do have a permanent effect. LouLou has had permanent fillers done under her eyes; I don't recall whether it was Artecoll or Artefill but those are basically the same. I too agree that LouLou looks great.

Now that I think about it,I believe LouLou had a different permanent filler known as Bio-Alcamid. Instead of microspheres, it is a thick gel polymer mixed with water. Some people consider it to be a gel implant even though it is injected into the skin. You can read more about it here:

I've had a few injections of Restylane in my tear troughs in the past two and a half years.
While I have needed a refill in the lower part of the tear trough, I am happy to report that the filler has never dissipated from the upper part and each time I have had a refill, it has been with less and less filler.
I am very happy with Restylane under my eyes, no lower bleph required, probably ever! - no wrinkles, no dark circles, nothing.
I should do a commercial for the company LOL!

Barefootgirl that is helpful to read your message, as I have no idea when it comes to such things, and so its helpful to have experience of someone who has had it done. Did you only have it done in your lower lid area? Can it be done elsewhere? Does the area feel smooth to the touch or is it noticeable that there is a filler there (to the touch)? |

I can't find Ellie's picture anymore under the facelift sight. Anybody else able to locate? |

Good for you Barefootgirl! I had Juvederm in the same area and it went away completely within 12 months and i was told Juvederm last longer than Restylene. |
