Kinetin, N6 furfuryladenine is the active ingredient in the Kinerase line. It is well researched and has been shown to be extremely effective as well as gentle. It also works exceptionally well with niacinamide/ B3. Vitamin B3, works well with N-acetyl D glucosamine.

Kinetin is one of the top 5 most effective antioxidants and is a signal peptide.

The serum is based on the following studies:

Kinetin 0.04 grams
NaOH + 10grams distilled water [ see ^^] 0.39 grams
Niacinamide 1.75 grams
N-acetyl D- glucosamine/ NAG 0.70 grams
Citric acid 0.04 grams
Sea emollient 10.50 grams/ or HA1% serum
Glycerin 1.05 grams/ or Dexpanthenol
H20 [ distilled water] 8.75 grams
Borage oil or [oil of choice] 10.5 grams
Lecithin powder 2.20 grams
Vitamin E 0.35 grams
Poly80 0.25
Preservative 0.18 grams

1. Kinetin must first go into solution, to do so, you need 0.39 grams of NaOH [ sodium hydroxide] and 10 mls of distilled water. Place the NaOH in a glass or stainless steel container, then add the 10 mls of H20. This will cause the NaOH to give off noxious fumes. Don't breathe it . It will also generate heat. Keep this off to the side until it cools down. [ No big deal}
2. Measure 0.04 grams of Kinetin into a small glass. Then from the 1 N NaOH solution you prepared before, you will need 0.5 mls [use a syringe to measure] added to the Kinetin. Stir until dissolved. [ the rest of the NaOH solution, is now drain cleaner]
3. Combine Niacinamide 1.75 grams and H20 8.75 grams and NAG 0.7 grams, stir until dissolved.
4. Add Sea emollient, glycerin and citric acid to #3 and stir/ blend till the citric acid crystals are dissolved. Add your preservative and blend.
5. Oil/s of choice 10.50 grams and Lecithin 2.20 grams combined, and heated till all is smooth in a double boiler. This is fast, don't let it "cook" blend till you have a custard looking mess and add Vit E
6. Pour #5 while blending into #4. You will now have white lotion/ cream. Plop the Poly 80, spin it around. Scent with an essential oil of your preference.
7. Pour into a sterilized container.
Done.

It's easy to make, requires a scale and some patience, and it won't cost over $100.00US to make it. It's really quite nice. It makes an elegant white night serum. Works well over RetinA.
