The SA said many people use it instead of a primer so I tried this yesterday and loved not only the nice smooth finish but my makeup stayed put all day - Bonus!

My exact thoughts about it - a primer! It goes on silky and I like the refreshing scent (artificial), but as with anything with a silky feel, you wonder if it has silicones in it. I can't tell as I got sample sizes that don't come with the ingredient list. At least it's not causing me to break out Smile

Anybody know if this is any good at making pores appear smaller please? I realise the other one in this range does, but I'd like to know if this does too.

It seems to for me, LittleMiss. I don't have large pores, but the ones on my nose are noticeable to me and when I use the Illuminator, my pores seem to disappear. Not sure how it is working for others though.

You may use it's product for more bottles, then you can find it useful.

I used this when it was first released and broke out with spots on my cheeks, I've never had acne in my life so I'm not sure if I was allergic to one of the ingredients or what...

My boyfriend tried it and he too came out in some spots with the addition of a rash to go with them.

I often have this sort of reaction if a product is loaded with silicones. Silicones can clog/block pores and prevent them from doing what they are supposed to.

I also cant take silica supplements despite all the raves about them being great for hair and skin. When I take silica tablets my skin breaks out for some weird reason -- another friend mentioned this happens to her also. I figure I get enough silica from my diet as I eat plenty of vegetables anyway Wink

I questioned whether it was the silicones that caused my reaction Glamcat, however, I have used other products that contain a fair amount of silicones such as advanced night repair concentrate, la mer concentrate and uv protection.

None of those products broke me out or caused any negative reactions, so I'm puzzled as to what the problem was. Unless there were just more silicones in this than I am able to tolerate compared to the other serums?
