Which facial wash is better for daily use and has better results / is non-irritating when used along with Atralin(or any nightly retinoid)?

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant? or Philosophy's Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash? A girl with really flawless complexion recommended Philosophy to me but Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant seems to have better ingredients list or reviews online.. Currently using Dr. Hauschka Cleanser and the alcohol content is a bit drying for me...

As for the peels, is Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel better than Philosophy's Microdelivery Peel(done once a week)?

Hope to get some feedback to those who've used these products before..

Derm's Daily micro isn't a cleanser. It is an exfoliant only. So use a cleanser first then exfoliate.
It is a dry powder that you mix with water until frothy, then apply. You can't keep it in the shower as water activates the enzymes. So how you like to cleanse (shower vs sink) will help you decide what product is best for you.

thanks for the clarification! Smile Hmmm.. seems like another extra step to my limited time in the mornings. wondering if it's worth the trouble Confused have you used the microfoliant before? would you say it's just as good in terms of brightening or getting rid of dead skin just like an acid would? thinking of taking a break from my obagi exfoderm forte and substituting with dr. dennis gross alpha beta daily face peel or the microdelivery peel by philosophy instead... I initially got good results with Obagi but it seems like my skin have adjusted and I'm no longer getting the earlier results.

Hi. I am so glad someone else is trying Dermalogica as I am too. I want to fade dark spots and reduce/eliminate blackheads.

I got some large samples of Dermalogica and Philosophy and bought the Dermalogica gentle cream exfoliant. I love this exfoliant. recommended on Lisa Eldridge's site. tried it with the daily micro exfoliant and found it to be a bit too much. I also like the precleanse. trying the special cleansing gel and like it but it may be a bit drying.

tried the Philosophy purity made simple cleansing gel..it is quite nice but probably will stick with the Dermalogica as really find the gentle exfoliant effective.

looking forward to hearing how it goes for you and what choices you make.

Goddessof. I had one sample of the Philosophy weekly miracle peel (mandelic acid and two other acids, not glycolic) and it did not irritate my skin. but of course this is not enough to tell if it would be effective for me. I was interested in the Dennis Gross ones also but wondered if they would be too harsh. I had one sample of Bliss glycolic peel pad and it felt good, more of a tingle than the Philosophy.
I bought the Bliss clog dissolving cleansing milk and steep clean pore purifying mask (Marshalls sale) but the Dermalogica gentle cream exfoliant did a lot more for my pores.
