It's safe to say that I'm quite enamoured with my iPad!  Anyone else feel the same? Any good app recs to share? |

Oh I love my iPad too. I bought the first iPad from a friend that upgraded. I took it to the beach when I went with my grandsons that are 2 and 6yrs old. They fell in love with it and I didn't have the heart to get it back from them. So I upgraded to the iPad 3. My favorite apps are Rest and Relax(puts me to sleep), Jesus calling(great daily devotion),Pandora(music), and Talking Tom(so cute....not just for kids...adults have a blast with this).  |

Honestly, it is the best money I have spent in the probably last 3+ years...love this thing!
I put it off until the ipad 3 came out, and even tried the Kindle Fire first (which didn't meet my expectations). But the ipad is just perfect!!!
I like the iBird Pro app, iHurricane (I live in FL), and I have some Friskies apps for my cats that are very popular here!

So adorable bethany! But I think you've created little monsters. Soon they will each want their own.
I dont have an iPad yet, but I have iPod, iPod Touch and MacMini (desktop) and MacBookPro. Love Pandora,Meditate Now, Flashlight, Sleep Machine, NPR News and some others I cant remember. |

| I absolutely adore my iPad. It is the last think I touch at night and the first thing I turn on in the morning. I tell my husband tat he watches far too much television. His reply is that I am always playing on my iPad. It's not as if I'm a young chick either. I'm heading for 69. I have already gone from the 2 to the 3. Gave the 2 to my friend, who to my surprise doesn't seem to be as enamoured with it as I am. Oh well, horses for courses. Why anyone would want to sit in a room when they can do almost anything in comfort on the sofa is beyond me. |

| Really cute pics--thanks for the suggestions! Some of my favourites are OverDrive for checking ebooks out of the library, Livestation, Evernote and Zite plus a couple of cooking apps and Newsstand. Love the digital magazines.... |

I don't really watch television.
But I do plug my ipad into the speaker system on my treadmil... and I watch shows while doing my time. Makes the time fly! Highly recommend! |

My DIL just got one and loves it. I am now eyeing it. I am going to justify one by saying we can use it for work-related apps so I can write it off!  |

I think a better question is, "is there a person on this planet that doesn't love the ipad?"
I am not a big electronics person, I use my ipad to play solitare and read books. I LOVE IT!!! |

I have the original kindle fire which is about the same size, and I really prefer the larger size of the iPad.
And if people have both an iPhone and an iPad, I am not sure why they would need or want the iPad mini? I am sure they have done their research though, and there must be a market or they wouldn't be making one.
BUT....as I am typing this up, I am sitting on a plane to ATL. Maybe it would be nice to have a slightly smaller version for work travel! And then I could just use the big one at home.
Hmmm...I think you may have talked me into one, lol. |

Still waiting on my back-ordered IPhone 5 for ove a month now! 
But my sweet DIL just got a new Ipad that she is giving to me. They just bought the new Cadillac ATX (?) or ATS and it came with a brand new Ipad.
So, could not pass up a freebie and looking forward to it! |

My iPhone 5 is due Nov 16...about a 3 week delay via Verizon.
But I'm a bit peeved that my iPad 3 is now obsolete, with the announcement of the 4th version this week (only 7 months after it was released).  I decided to hold off on the mini, and wait for the 2nd release of that, since it's a new model and they will undoubtedly make changes.  |

My Iphone 5 comes in today (hooray!!!)and I just got the IPad 3 from my DIL (who now has the version 4 or whatever)this weekend to try.
I don't care, I am never giving it back. I am so in love with this thing. I can now sit on the couch and not to get up 50 million times to check on emails, FB messages, etc in the office.
I can now be a total recluse and couch potato and not leave the sanctuary of my living room.
But seriously, it is amazing!!!! I love it. |

And 3 days later, I am still totally in love. I came down with a cold/flu? and have not left the couch so it has been a godsend. I love that it does everything my laptop did for me but w/o the heavy trappings.
I am still just getting it all set up how I wanted it and discovering apps. Last night came back in to find the hubby playing with it. Needless to say, he NEVER touches a computer or even my Iphone. His reply, "Pretty cool!"
I am also loving my Iphone. Haven't played with it much yet but I am in new toy heaven.
Now if I can just kick this icky stuff (or maybe not). |

I got my new iphone 5 and love it, but I now know why they are offering the ipad mini....It's for the over 40 set like myself!
The ipad is great at home, but I would like something a little smaller for travel. However, my over 40 eyes find the phone too small for web browsing. With all the aging babyboomers, the mini was born!
Now I just have to wait for the retina version on the mini. |
