Hi Kassy Here it is water, sodium chloride, preservative, humectant, reverse osmosis water and FD&C Color. I am at a family reunion and I brought it with me. I still haven't used it though. I want to take the time and make sure I am doing it right. I wish Christine Byer would comment-she is so knowledgable about microcurrent. Maybe we scared her off also!

One more question please... Is the color tinted green by any chance?

no offense, but this ingredient list is very shady, companies have to list ingredients with their INCI ( International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) names according to the law.. what is humectant, is it glycerin, Na PCA or hyaluronic acid or,.... is the preservative paraben or...? what is reverse osmosis water, it's not an ingredient, it's water which they have listed already in the beginning... neurotris/pico needs to update this list and comply with the law...

shady shady list..

btw, how much is this artificially colored salty water selling for?

Hi daler,

I'm sure that 'Neurotris' is buying a standard "pre treatment electrode conductive spray" in bulk, and selling it to Pico users at about 100% markup.

When you do a search with the "ingredients" listed exactly as is on the bottle at Amazon for instance, it brings up the standard conductive products that all contain almost identical ingredients.

Simply put, you can all easily duplicate this at home, or just buy a 1 gallon container at Amazon, for $32.USD...

Have a look @ LG Med Supplies for your exact "ION SPRAY". Scroll down to the ingredients;

For the DIY'ers, I'd encourage you to make your own. Try this;

Eazy Peazy Conductive Spray

• Water 85%
• Sodium Chloride (table salt) 10% (standard in my experience with both TENS & Ultrasound)
• Preservative 1% (optiphen is terrific in anything water based)
• Humectant 4% (vegetable glycerin)
• Reverse Osmosis (RO) (don't run out to buy a filtration system, simply use distilled water
• FD&C Color (no need.. but y'all already know that)

That should cost you about $4./gallon (and you'll have enough glycerin to make 25 more gallons...lol

*Lord have mercy... I need to go into business* Laughing

For those who can't afford the Pico, check out this device manufactured in the UK by Rio.

http://www.win-health.com/actinic/acatalog/Rio-Hand-Rejuvenation-Galvanic-Gloves-GVGL_galvanicgloves.html

Whilst it says it's for treating the hands, if you wear plastic inserts it should work the same way.

I'm currently in Hong Kong and the array of beauty gadgets is staggering. I'd buy something if I didn't already own them all!
This looks good though and just look at the price. Still feel the Pico is overpriced for what it is.

The first bottles I purchased were clear but the newest batch is blue. I have quite a supply because when I ordered the pads I stocked up on spray.

Does anyone use the spray with the pads and if so, how? I haven't used it with the pads so far.

The Ion Spray that came with my Pico was clear, but I just re-ordered 5 bottles, and it is blue now. I hate that they put a dye in it. YUK. Kassy, where were you a week ago before I placed that order?? I searched the web for an Ion spray before I ordered Neurotis's, but couldn't find one, so I bit the bullet.

Just to be difficult yet again. I still don't know why we need the spray. The silver in the gloves and water should adequately conduct the current.

those gloves look tempting keliu. I dont see that they are using any "ion" spray with them, or is that what the "Q10 cream" is for?

Also, I have issues with that "Q10 cream". Why would I want to infuse ethylhexyl methoxinnamate into my skin??? Otherwise, so v tempting. tx for posting. So jell you are in HK where all the good stuff is!

The Q10 cream would just be for skin nourishment - it would not provide extra conductivity. But as I've said before, I've not seen any recommendations to use a conductive spray with any other mc machines that use gloves. I also find the Pico current to be quite strong enough on it's own.

The usual procedure when using the gloves is to re-wet them frequently during the treatment. However, the Pico gloves do a great job of retaining moisture compared to others I've used.

Wow, thanks, Kassy! If I used the ion spray I would be all over that DIY recipe. I quit using it after I got a few pimples, unusual for me these days. I get the same results using the Pico with just water. My bottles have an aqua tint, btw. It seems clear the spray not only isn't necessary, it's an aftermarket cash cow (calf anyway) for Neurotris. Pffft!

I for one appreciate the ongoing ASG discussion. This is a forum, is it not? Discussion is the whole point.

I’m alternating daily ultrasound and microcurrent facials and liking the results. I still need to do some facial exercises, but fewer and less often. The Safetox is out of the rotation these days. Maybe I will drag out the Vaculifts…

My ion spray that came with my Pico was blue. If mountain girl and others are getting a different color then Kassy is likely right, they're just buying in bulk, repackaging, and re-selling. Thank you for the link to the bulk ion spray, and also the recipe, Kassy!

But a question...in this case, wouldn't it make more sense for the humectant to be hyaluronic acid? Wouldn't glycerin make the material of the gloves somewhat greasy over time?

Keliu wrote:

Keliu, we don't always see eye-to-eye on everything, but thank you for my first belly laugh of the day! Laughing

Seriously, I am a fan of ormus/manna/energized minerals, stuff like that, which is why I'm giving ASG a go. Others may not believe but I know what's worked for me. But the way some of the proponents of these energetic products look, it does make you wonder.

HA is much more expensive than glycerin and if they were using HA they would be proudly listing it.. imo...

may be its one of the glycols, even cheaper...

edited. I now realized u meant to ask Kassy re her recipe n not the pico ion spray... sorry!

Mary claire yes i can see my friends results her jowls are so much tighter and her whole bottom half of her face is lifted. She is very thin on the face and has much more sagging than me so she had much more to work on.I see her every week and each week she looks better .She does look after her skin much better now also. She did have a few caci professional micro current treatments before and i only mean say about 5 once a week for 5 weeks .When she had these for about 2 days her face was amazing but it didn't last and due to cost she couldn't keep them up .Hence why she got the pico ,she uses it every day so seems to keep the lift she is getting from it.I can only presume that she responds better to microcurrent than i do but i had professional treatments for a year once a week and had really good results.Maybe its not strong enough for me .HTH X
