Here are the supplements (and dosage) that I plan to take for skin & overall health:

Innate Respone One Daily: http://www.innateresponse.com/product-p/40003.htm
Vital Choice Salmon Oil (1 tsp): http://www.vitalchoice.com/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=126&idcategory=748
AOR Antioxidant Synergy (1 tablet): http://www.aor.ca/products-page/advanced/antioxidant-synergy-old/
Solgar Liquid Calcium & Magnesium w/vitamin D (2 tsps): http://www.iherb.com/Solgar-Calcium-Magnesium-Citrate-with-Vitamin-D3-Liquid-Natural-Blueberry-Flavor-16-fl-oz-473-ml/36212

I'm also thinking of adding grape seed extract, green tea extract, MSM, and possibly pycnogenol to the mix.

What about you? What supplements do you take for beauty and overall health?

I love lycopene for skin health. Highly recommend. It really does give some protection from the sun. I don't get as much of a redneck suntan when I take it regularly, and I rarely use sunscreen because I hate it so much (sunscreen only when I know I'm going to be spending an hour or more in the sun in the worst part of the day, plus I always wear hats after 9a). I try not to slack off on lycopene now, ever.

Don't forget vitamin C for skin. Plus bioflavonoids and quercetin.

Copper, but watch your zinc balance with it. the proper ratio is supposed to be about 2mg copper per 15mg zinc. Research it a bit. I'm not sure I'm remembering correctly, but that's fairly close even if not precisely correct.

Q10 (100+mg/day)

Tocotrienols

selenium (to go with the vit E/tocotrienols)

Silica (I prefer Biosil but YMMV)

That's most of what I take that hasn't been mentioned here already. Sometimes I give the supplements a little break, too. And if I'm eating really healthy, I don't take as much. If you've got a truly good diet, you don't need as many supplements.

Can't have one. Never tried it, and never heard of it before now. It looks like a nice product, though. Probably worth trying. It's not 'spensive and you can move on to something else if you don't like it.

Wish I could be more help.

*Barleans Essential Woman (Flax, primrose)
*B Complex
*Hair/Skin/Nails multi
*Pycnogenol
*occasionally Ashwaghanda for adrenal support
*Acidophillus pearls
*Magnesium/D3

I'm like Annie and do the 5 on 2 off... but I do try to take the Barlean's daily - or switch off with a tspoon of fish oil...

... I got to recently trial a collagen drink (or shot as it were - they're like 2 oz each) and I really liked it.. it's just kind of expensive, so for now I'll stick with the above. Smile

I didn't realize that about lycopene, which brand and milligram do you take?

You can also try taking a daily multivitamin with several isomers of vitamin A. Innate Response is one, as is Ortho Core.
