| I always wonder this when making DIY products. Some recipes call for a small measurement of an ingredient that leaves "residue" on the weigh boat...does anyone compensate for the "residue" left by adding a few 100ths of a gram of a sticky ingredient to the original recipe? For this reason, I try to do as little ingredient transfers as possible. |

I take part of the water from my water phase (or oil if the ingrd is oil-sol) and rinse out the measuring cup if Im weighing tiny amounts of powders or liquids. Or add it directly to the large beaker if I feel brave  |
