I have been looking at this product tonight as an affordable upgrade to my cheap ebay type LED device. It is a good price and the led's look comparable to the full price unit but obviously in a less robust plastic casing.

Has anyone tried this device and could offer some feedback?

Okay so I went ahead and bought this and my previous cheap LED device must have been a heap of junk as it did nothing really where as this has definitely brightened my skin in just 4 treatments. I can't say anything about more substantial changes yet but at least I'm not totally wasting my time like I must have been before.

Okay, so is this made by the same company as makes the Quasar and Baby Q?

Yes it is made by the same company, I've been looking at the Baby Quasar for a long time but the price was off putting especially when I already had an LED device which didn't seem to be doing much if anything. Anyway when I saw the cheaper "Pure Rayz" I decided to give it a shot. They sell it on here on EDS (although I used a UK supplier).
I think it is roughly the same as the Baby Quasar MD the box says "Highest power output for maximum collagen production". The main difference is in the casing which is plastic and it has a 5 year warrenty rather than the lifetime one that comes with the larger devices. It also has undetachable clear plastic over the leds which I don't think the larger devices have and perhaps that prevents some of the light reaching the skin?

I think the main thing is that it actually seems to be making a difference in brightness and in making skin tone more even, all the things I had read about on here in regards to LEDs but never saw with my old device.

Wonder about switching it out myself to try the Pure Rayz, but if it is just the Baby Q but on the highest setting, that would not be a trade.

It has 40 leds which is more than the MD Plus which might save on time but I don't think it is a superior device or all that much different. If you already have the Baby Q then unless you wanted it for travel etc then I wouldn't get this as it is essentially the same thing as far as I know.

A big upgrade for me though from my previous led or "red torch"!
