I love this foundation which works very well for my pale skin. It has a slight pink undertone. It stays on well and has a nice finish - not matte, but not shiny either.
I have been searching for while for a foundation which is light enough for my fair skin. Almost all I've tried in the last few years have a yellow base which doesn't work for me.
I purchased it at Ulta so I could return it if it didn't work out, but I've seen my shade (#2) on eBay as well. |

Thanks for your review, glad you found a foundation that works for you! Could you perhaps list another foundation (and its shade) so that everyone has another reference point for what shade #2 is like and whether it would suit them? I.e. what are the foundations and shades that have suited you in the past (even if they were perhaps were a little too yellow)? |

It's kind of hard to advise a brand of foundation which is close to this shade, because I hadn't been able to find one that suited me for several years. I have been using LaMer #9 and Giorgio Armani #5, but they were both too yellow. I try to buy products that are 'bisque' or 'ivory' shades.
I was surprised to note on the package that the product is manufactured in Italy. I thought it came from Japan.
I would describe the #2 as a very light nuetral beige with the slight pink undertone. My skin is fair, but not 'ghostly' light. This one has excellent coverage and stayed fresh looking all day. I do use the Urban Decay Makeup Setting Spray, though, because I live in Texas and we are around 100 degrees every day this time of the year.
As I mentioned, I bought it at Ulta so that I could return it if necessary. They told me they don't do the samples anymore, but they will take it back within 60 days with the receipt.
Hope this helps! |
