Here's the crazy thing, I get the same results with this plant grow light I bought off ebay...
The trick is to get is as close to the skin as possible and get in at least a half hour twice a week.

What type of LED light do you recommend for rosacea? My nose has been "Rudolph" like for years. I have an AALS that I have been using on my face, but not my nose. I just discovered that the red nose is rosacea, and not just forever sunburned. |

Thanks for all the information. Everyone still happy with the LED Man products? Has anyone tried Light Therapy Options? Or should I go with another unit?
Thanks! |

Hey there,
Because you are asking the question, I am responding but my response may not fit in the LED Man thread.
In about 2009 I purchased a handheld red/infrared from Rita at ProLight and have used it since. It's small and I've wanted more coverage. In fact full body coverage
I shopped around and bought two red-light panels (660 nm) and 4 near-infrared bulbs (850 nm) and will hang all on panels. I want to see how I like them, whether I will use them, and determine if I should save up for a red/near-infrared spa. For now, I am enjoying my makeshift situation.
I published an article today about skin and health benefits of LED use and options to easily use LED.

I have not compared the Joules of these lights to those used in the NASA studies. Anyone know? For now, my red light bathroom spa feels awesome! I'll monitor my skin and health condition in 6 months (can't help myself, I expect terrific results!)

Thanks Deborah
I would love your haircare regime!! One reason I am looking into the red light is to stimulate hair growth, prevent thinning and shedding.
You actually provided an even a better response that I had hoped. I am looking for a device. I will certainly look into ProLights as I don't believe there is much of a difference with the expensive handhelds.
Would love to hear from others as well. |

Hi!
Briefly, I don't want to hijack the thread...hair and skin are dependent on lifestyle so a variety of whole foods with plenty of veggies and fruit are excellent. I take nutraceuticals to augment nutrition as well. I have been using coconut oil, avocado oil or pumpkin seed oil, all organic and raw (unrefined) on my hair (& in my kitchen

Hi Bee, I have purchased through Light Therapy Options. I have Red, Yellow and Green lights. Happy customer. I get much more use out of red and yellow than green, but the bulbs themselves are incredible and the customer service was also good. I'd recommend for sure. |
