After all prevention is better than cure...!!

Silicone gel sheets, honey, drinking plenty of water work the best.

Others remedies include:

1. Moisturizing the skin
2. Bio Oil
3. Cucumber butter
4. Olay Regenerist
5. Cocoa Butter Lotion
6. Aloe Vera
7. Lime Juice
8. Onion extract

Once the acne are gone, they leave those red marks behind. Some may even become permanent and not go off easily. Then what is the solution for this?

1. Make use of skin lightening creams
2. Use of chemical peels
3. Get protection using sunscreen
4. Clear the acne:
Before starting any treatment, it is vital to have cleared your skin break out. Thusly, your endeavors won't be futile. Also, the existence of acne means your skin is aroused, which will unavoidably diminish the adequacy of treatment.

I still have a fairly large pink scar on my cheek-I've been trying to get rid of it for 2 years it seems.

I did see several cosmetic Dr. and was not too pleased with their options so far.

I was told they could cut out the area to make my skin look smoother ,but then I would be left with another scar.

They might be able to use a laser, but would need many treatments.

Then one DR is insisiting it is just a scar on my cheek and that my skin is not broken out.
I know how my skin is and I have a scar and my skin is broken out in the same area.

So far, did a bunch of exuviance peels at home and also used 10 and 20% vitamin C cream and that did reduce my skin damage by 50% I would say.

I can still lightly see where half my scar was.

1. Prevention is more important than cure. Prevent acne!
2. Wear sunscreen everyday to prevent hyper pigmentation
3. Use whitening products and scar treatment products

These three points can effectively eliminate the blemishes on the face, but please bare in mind that it takes time for the process.

Have you tried a derma roller?

They're pretty great at treating scars.

The idea is little needles poke into the skin and the skin repairs itself. It is best to couple this with some Vitamin C serum to help the recovery process.

If it is really stubborn you may want to try microneedling.
