As long as we're posting pictures of well-known people and what they eat, let's hear it for Halle Berry, a (gasp) salmon eater, and her gorgeous skin at almost 46 years of age. Stunning!

Great example sandooch, and I am sure there are many, many more stunning examples out there!

Yeah I suppose I could eat a low fat diet, um, already did- it made me sick.

What eating low fat does to your skin:

Oh well 50 years of indoctrination, there are some things you really can't un-learn.

Am I understanding this right, Gretchens finding fault with the new princess Rolling Eyes !! unreal shes beautiful

Yep, the only negative I can find in this picture is that she just looks a little tired, which is understandable. But she is still a beautiful young lady IMO.

Duchess Catherine is still good looking but her low fat Dukan diet is ruining her skin and will eventually ruin her health a well.

Miranda Kerr, the VS model, eats 4 tablespoons of coconut oil a day. 4 x 7= 28 tablespoons or about a jar a week, since she was 14! They're the same age yet KM looks her age and MK can pass for 10 years younger easily.

Met with some folks today who are doing dose response curves with nutrients important for skin health, and comparing to topical delivery. I'll share some of that data later. Seems like solid work.

The health benefits of coconut oil are well known and studied. You can't compare a plant oil with an animal fat because they have a different make-up - coconut oil metabolizes in the body in a different way to animal fat.

Miranda Kerr is one of the most genetically blessed people on the planet - her beauty is not the result of her coconut oil intake. I'm sure there are thousands of people who take coconut oil and don't look like her. But there are plenty of other photos of the Duchess of Cambridge in which she looks perfectly lovely - you just happened to of chosen an unflattering one (and even in that she's gorgeous).

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with eating animal fat - it has nutrients that the body requires. But, like everything, it should be eaten as part of a balanced, well rounded diet.

IMHO, the Duchess of Cambridge looks a little bit tired on most of her photos. Of course, we can't say for certain whether it is due to her diet/lifestyle or heredity, or both.

I would imagine that her life would be one giant learning curve at the moment - filled with allot of pressure that we couldn't even comprehend.

To single her out as representative of a low fat diet is pointless IMO. Although I would agree that she's starting to look too thin.

when they visited the states recently, their schedule was NON STOP! One function after another, I can not imagine she has time to breath! and ditto on shes very thin, but I think she'll level out as soon. I can't even contemplate what her day must be like, makes me tired just thinking of it Confused

Miranda Kerr looks so young because she has a pudgy baby face. I don't think her intake of coconut oil has as much to do with it. I've read some people describe her as having a cabbage patch doll head. But, I remember those dolls and they were really ugly. Smile

not promoting anything - but
simple serendipity, (really, a clumsy search accident), got me to this link:

It gave me a heary laugh after reading the info-data on research for finding 'beauty within'.
A nutrional goldmine?

Just thought I'd share

To take a leaf out of Gretchen's book - the photos of him don't impress me much, he looks over-weight. Plus he's wearing a Kabbalah string - obviously isn't relying completely on his formula!
