Hi All,
I had a really awful cyst back in January. Definitely the worst cyst (upper cheek) I've ever had in my entire life (I'm 25). And it left a pretty nasty mark. A mark that I originally thought was dark brown/brown but I later realized was red. The mark was really dark before and over the last 8 months, there has been improvement but not as much as I had hoped.
I had honestly expected that after 8 months this mark would be gone or at least mostly undetectable. But, it's still here. I do want to note that I'm black and I've never had a red mark before and all my pimples/acne tend to leave dark brown/brown marks that I'm usually able to resolve myself and it usually can take 1-6months depending on several factors.
Since it's been 8 months I'm planning on going to a derm. But, I was hoping that someone would have some suggestions for me? Thanks in advance. |
